Sorry, but you've got it dead wrong! The Pak Establishment (read PA and ISI) are desperate to install a Taliban government in Kabul for their so called 'strategic depth'. No other government would allow that except a Taliban one - or so the Pak Establishment thinks.

But unfortunately for them things aren't working out well as the ordinary Afghan has no love lost for Pakistan seeing the interference by Pakistan in their daily lives through their Taliban proxies.

I'm not the Pakistani establishment myself and I could'nt care less about politics.

My concern is the well being of the average Pakistani whose job and economic prospects are being hindered by millions of legal and illegal Afghans residing in Pakistan. I just want them to go home as they are putting a massive strain on our struggling economy. Perhaps the Afghans can go to a country they genuinely like and leave us Pakistani people alone.

It is worrisome, it is really worrisome if it is true. Afghans are historical warriors and have been through all this bloodshed for years. I know Pakistan is capable enough to deal with them but also think about the dying economy and cost of fighting this war. Afghanistan will just have to produce suicide bombers whereas Pakistan will have to defend its cities and fight them in Afghanistan. If Afghanistan can bring USSR and USA to its knees (forget about funding) then it is not going to be difficult for them. They can easily find few countries to fund this war. Remember Gwadar port is enough to raise the funds.

Well good for them. Good for Afghan people. Pakistan does not need to fight at all. No violence necessary at all. Completely against it with regards to Afghanistan. All Pakistan needs to do is cease all contact with Afghanistan and completely seal the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Let nothing Afghan into Pakistan and let no food/essentials or other goods leave Pakistan for Afghanistan. Let's see what happens.
