BREAKING: 1st Air-Launched BrahMos Test In March

.
So would all achievement now will be credited to Modi. And all the delays and trouble pinned on the previous gov?

If you think that a gov will help with defense productions, you are delusional. Government is not the solution to the problems. Gov is the problem.

BTW. Any individual that will make real changes is unelectable. Everything else is shaffling deck chairs.

The government is the body which controls the institution and people in institution are part of government only, and they are the one who advise the leadership. DRDO is not out of government, it is part of government only.

. .
well Good luck with your delusions ..
This is the reality, without the permission from MoF and MoD and MEA not a single paper plane can be built in DRDO. The military tells what they need, the scientific advisory council explain how and by when, DRDO builds it. MoF grants funds, MEA negotiates ToT.

I heard DRDO builds lot of paper plane in their idle time without permission of MoF,MOD ,MEA ....:P

Of course not, especially when you consider that this is actually not good, since most of these tests and trials are delayed! Brahmos was planned to be tested last year, Astra, NAG and K15 doesn't offer the required performance, LCA FOC further delayed SP1 and 2 was meant to be provided last year, just as NP2...
So that has nothing to do with political improvements, but even even less with good performance of DRDO, but even they will try to sell it as a success.
Hold on you said doesn't offer required performance ?
K15 is always meant to be 700 Km-1200Km SLBM and is in production. While NAG is all good and it's Army who dragging its feet since long as they need Seekers which can withstand 55 C temperature but the reality is not a single ATGM in this world can withstand this extreme heat even the Javelin.
Now talking about Astra Mk1 which is 44-80 km range BVR and it is quite good to replace russian R 77.While Astra Mk2 is more of Indian Meteor class BVR with 100-120 Km range.
PS-I know your love for phoren maal and that's fine with me but learn to give credit where its due mate.

great news.. but weren't we suppose to test it last year

When we do simulation in a hot environment of any ADC circuit be it made for low frequency signals, or infra-red communication, we use compressed gas inside the canopy where circuit is planted to bring down the temperature from 120°C to low as 20°C-35° range. That is the standard range. This can be used in seekers too. It just increases the cost.

Lisa Simpson is an Indian ?
If @Luca1 is American, Lisa Simpson is a typical orthodox Tamil brahmin.

I'm spoken like an American. Would anyone that want to destroy the good old boy club electable?

You will have to try harder. Really, how do you expect to be taken seriously, if you write like that and pretend to be American?

K15 only offers around 750Km now and is far away from the 1000Km+ => therefor doesn't offer the required performance
Astra so far offers only 44Km, which is far below the R77 it is meant to replace => therefor doesn't offer the required performance
Astra MK2 is just a pipe dream and if you think METEOR's advantage is range, you clearly haven't informed yourself about it.
I don't prefer foreign stuff, but see things realistically as they are and not how we want them to be! That's why I see the current status of these projects, while you point out the "hope" you have that these projects will reach these performance in future and I even share the hope, but don't let myself blind of it. A delayed test in 2015 remains to be a delayed test and not something good unless it made a considerable jump in the development. If that happens, I surely will give credit to that.

K 15, 750 Km range was intended as per requirement by Navy, where you see performance issue bro.o_O Threat Perception increased from Pakistan to China now hence K 4 is online.
Where is your source ,I got my source
Astra Mk1, 44km range is based on different altitude testing which is simple science. As the altitude increase so is the range due to thin air and less drag.
In Friday’s trial, the missile was fired from an altitude of 6.8 km against a simulated long-range target 65 km away in a controlled and guided flight. Another Astra test-fire successful - The Hindu
Astra is India's first Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air missile and has been designed and developed indigenously by the DRDO. The 60-km plus range missile possesses high Single Shot Kill Probability (SSKP) making it highly reliable,
.
Astra BVR-Air-to-Air missiles was tested successfully by the Indian Air Force from a naval range off Goa. The launch, conducted on June 20, from over 6 km altitude was a control and guidance flight, which successfully demonstrated interception of an electronically simulated target at long range.

For Astra Mk2 just wait and watch bro.:azn:

Bramos A . SERIOUS FIRE POWER of IAF. It will be game changer . Required punch with high quality and precision . Waiting eagerly . Will it be armed with Mig 29 Jags mirages ? Or we need to wait for mini A ?

One more question .will adding Bramos Mini with LCA which has range of 500 km radius and missile with 300 km range makes it the deadliest beast of I think class ? But Wat about range of Tejas radar ?

Nope.It is not for LCA.It does not suit its requirement as LCA is a lightweight fighter. Also it CANNOT be deployed on LCA due to Brahmos`s weight and dimensions
