If anybody thinks China has designs on AP is insane, for one, India even as is, will inflict a damage on China that's not acceptable, the main goal for China at this point is to carve a space for China in the global order, everything else is secondary.

India will soon find out, countries like ours, cannot live under another world power and be really developed, there's only so much you can do without the prestige required to go to the next level.

The final solution will be status quo more or less, but for now that isn't ideal.

Yeah the Status quo is good but if we agree on a solution,it will open doors for massive trade & investments from China to India & vice versa though on a smaller scale.In the long run it is best for both sides to reach a solution ASAP
