In Islam there is no concept of caste but in Pakistan there are remnants of caste system from Hinduism but it is entirely different than ancient caste system and it even differentiates from province to province. In Pakistan it is still different than India because Pakistan still has land based politics while Indian government managed to wipe it out early in the 50s and 60s. Even the sikhs have castes nowadays Jatts and Mazbahis don't get along and Punjabi Christians were made up of Mazhabi Sikh converts. Brahmin converts to Islam are a lower standing in Pakistan than a Brahmin Hindu in India.

When the English visited Punjab under the Khalsa they were shocked that Punjabis all looked the same had turbans and beards and nobody could tell who was who unless asked. Caste system was pretty much gone in Punjab but land owners had power. Then when India got independence land power got eradicated but in Pakistan it remains. Shockingly though caste has crept back into Sikhs.

Obviously not, diwani Pathans are Bhumihar converts who can't trace any ancestry outside of India, they make the majority of "Pathans". Nasali and Rohilla Pathans can trace Afghan ancestry however we have mixed with local population.

I insulted Punjabis due to @shan insulting everyone here including me, it was not directed at you. My fathers side came to India amidst before partition so I doubt they where raped. My mothers side lacks detail, most likely they where local converts.
