Our two major departments, NADRA and Election Commission, both have failed to deliver unbiased services to the people and this country. Both have brought shame and our votes have no say and no credibility in the eyes of international community. 45% of total votes are fake as per SC of Pakistan. Being the citizen of this country to restore the credibility of our country, it is our duty to disassociate ourselves from all politicians and their parties and boycott all upcoming election. We have to act now to give safe and secure future to our children who can live in this world with their head high or be part of this rotten and corrupt system and leave our kid’s future in DARK with no HOPE.

I know many in Pakistan are to duped by fake-aurora of Imran Khan and other corrupt parties to even consider this. But truth speaks for itself. Democracy is a hoax in Pakistan, people are fool-ed over n over again and yet they still allow themselves to be fooled again.

You don't know what you are calling. Even if no one votes, one of the parties will win because of fake votes(as you said). So in the end, you'll have a corrupt party ruling you once again.

And as far as Chinese style is concerned, how can you even think, you will get a completely honest and intelligent ruling power. In case of a corrupt and selfish govt, it will bankrupt you, and none of you would be allowed to criticize them.

The best solution is to vote. All of you must vote for your favorite party, if everyone votes, the chances for fake votes diminish. If real vote exists for a person, you can not cast a fake vote for him, so this method will make sure 90%+ votes are genuine, and you get a govt that the people of Pakistan want, not some dictator.

Could also turn out to be a 'North Korean style ruthless authoritarian system' - who is going to control the direction of this particular system?

Democracy is not the issue, the lack of checks and balances on various institutions (including parliament and the President) and the lack of depoliticized and autonomous law enforcement, judicial and anti-corruption institutions are the issues.

And 'authoritarian system' or a 'Shariah Law based system' does not automatically resolve the basic issues outlined above, and neither does democracy. The focus should therefore by on addressing these basic issues affecting governance, through reforms in the current system.

Right now the PPP leadership is the biggest hurdle towards reforming the current system because every time the courts try and hold the PPP accountable for unconstitutional policies and corruption, the PPP leadership starts ranting about 'conspiracy against democracy' and 'parliament is supreme', and our baighairat liberal brigade in the media rallies to the PPP's side.

Ok, so if we won't vote, government(If it is that corrupt) will say 90% of population voted for ______ anyways. Would you know?
Would a Lahori know if a Karachiite voted and vice versa? Would a Baluchi know?

I suggest you should observe in North Korea people showed very emotional regarding the death of their holy god fathers Kim Sung/Kim Jong, it basically show they have no hope for future paths.

If you prefer Arab styles dictatorship, look at the example of Egypt, Libya and more depression people in regard to 20-30 years Mubarak-Gaddaffi. President Assad killed his own people in Syria.

Pakistan must listen to the voice of people, not silences. It will grow mature and more effectives system in the process (i.e Turkey).

We can make zardari go by votes , but what if a dictator comes he will no way (or very hard) leave you unless he dies as zia died , right to choose ruler is one of the basic right and we are not and will not surrender it , .
