Boy nine is decapitated by two relatives as part of a human sacrifice to a Hindu goddess’ in India

Th point being you are still practicing some thing which has been clear prohibited by god and raising fingers at the others. Do you have the right to throw the stone?

John 8:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Laws made humans change from time to time and place to place.

There was a time when liquor was illegal in the US but not anymore.

There was time when Cocaine, Heroin, Opium etc were all legal but illegal now.

Prostitution and gays may be illegal in Pakistan but legal in India.

What does not change the law of the god.

All people who are sacrificing animals as offering to god may not answerable on land but would be answerable to god.

Bible cannot be any clearer. It says "Your hands are full of blood!. Wash and make yourselves clean.
Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong."

Isaiah 1:11-16 New International Version (NIV)

11 “The multitude of your sacrifices—
what are they to me?” says the Lord.
“I have more than enough of burnt offerings,
of rams and the fat of fattened animals;
I have no pleasure
in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.
12 When you come to appear before me,
who has asked this of you,
this trampling of my courts?
13 Stop bringing meaningless offerings!
Your incense is detestable to me.
New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations—
I cannot bear your worthless assemblies.
14 Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals
I hate with all my being.
They have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
15 When you spread out your hands in prayer,
I hide my eyes from you;
even when you offer many prayers,
I am not listening.

Your hands are full of blood!

16 Wash and make yourselves clean.
Take your evil deeds out of my sight;
stop doing wrong.

You are taking quotes out of sequence and out of context.

Look at what was said in Genesis 1:29. It clearly says plants shall be for meat. Only in Genesis 9:3 has meat been permitted temporarily after the great flood. Genesis 19:3 clear demonstrates that Angels ate bread not meat. The Isaiah 65:25 clearly indicates that God is preparing us for a herbivorous world.

Genesis 1:29 King James Version (KJV)
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Genesis 9:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Genesis 19:3 New International Version (NIV)

3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate.

Isaiah 65:25 New International Version (NIV)

25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
and dust will be the serpent’s food.
They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,”
says the Lord.

Why are you quoting biblical scriptures... Religious posts are not allowed and in this case irrelavent.

The issue is hindutva child sacrifices. Do you condemn them?

Common. You can't be serious. The OP itself is based on a religious practice. If what you say is true then mods should simply delete this thread.

It's the act of murder and the Hindu practice. But forum rules are that we cannot discuss religious theology. Rather focus on the crime.

There are so many murders that happen in this world. What is so special here that it needs to be discussed?

. .
Every murder is of concern. But some are more relavent to certain areas or communities than others.

So you are saying since this is related to Hindu community it should be discussed but discussed without bringing in other religions? Is that correct?:D

. . . .
Please elaborate what is the topic at hand?

A 9 year old decapitated and killed in india so that his elder brother and family could gain some super powers. The topic is simple, barbarity shown by an extremist backward superstitious community. Now you can try drawing parallels but killing someone to gain powers is unique to this society only. And no Muslims don't slaughter goats to gain some super natural powers.

So why do you slaughter goats?

You are quoting biblical scripturebthat are not related to child sacrifices.

There are no scriptures for child sacrifices.

If you go to any Kali temple in Delhi, you would only get vegetarian prasad. That is the indisputable truth.

You are quoting biblical scripturebthat are not related to child sacrifices.

Do you know how many babies are killed through abortions?

While abortions are legal, child sacrifices are illegal.

While goat sacrifices are legal, child sacrifices are illegal.

What a world we live in.
