Border clash reported between Iran and Taliban

Son, nobody is taking your threats seriously. Even 10x smaller Azerbaijan is pissing on your threats and would give your shitty military a good spanking.

Iran seriously wants afghanistan to stand up on its own feet. Iran is tired of hosting millions upon millions of afghans fleeing war.... you might think in your wet dreams that you are actually a threat to Iran..

In reality, Iran just wants the drugs and refugees to stop.....

the last time afghanistan was actually A threat to Iran in the 18th century...... a man named Nader Shah took care of that threat permenantly. every single afghan who resisted was slaughtered like pigs....

the hottaki dyansty was ended, and afghans were used as slaves and soldiers for Nader... modern day afghanistan was actually founded by one of Naders afghan officers....

i highly suggest you worry about your banking and healthcare and food... the thing Iran (and literally every single other country on earth) fears about afghanistan is 1.terrorism 2. refugee floods 3. drugs

the major exports of afghanistan. terrorism, drugs and refugeees.. maybe learn to wipe your own rear first, enter the 20th century (21 is still too soon) before trying to provoke Iran?

The iranians tried to establish a border post on the Afghan side of the border. When they refused to pull back, Taliban gave them a befitting reply by capturing several of their border posts. The iranian regime has long sought to utilise a power vacuum to entrench themselves on the border - Now they know that the Afghans will break their jaw.

In case of increased hostilities, do you think that Pakistan would provide manpads and ATGMs? two much needed weapons to deal effectively with these folks.

Pakistan will always stand up with its little brother Afghanistan. There can be differences between Afghans and Pakistanis but will never allow any third party to hurt our little brother.

.
both iran and afghanistan are our neighbors and brother why we fuel war ? paksitan will provide a table and two chairs so you both sit and have some cold water then talks .

in an interconnected world when you bury your neighbor you have buried yourself too

One of the best responses. The west particularly the US thrives on division and rule, It looks for such opportunities and looks for proxies and terrorists to further its agenda. The sooner these countries understand that the better.

. .
the hottaki dyansty was ended,

The Hottaki was a kandahari tribe that destroyed the whole Safavids dynasty in a fight that was 1 to 100.000 odds. Worry about your own terrorism by the way you have alot of questionable elements inside your borders yourself

US might actually ally with Taliban in near future against Iran, as well as to eliminate rising threat of IS-K and also to contain China's growing influence in the region. They have been allies with taliban predecessor Mujahideens against Russia in the past so thought of that happening again isn't that crazy.

I think US and Saudia would be very keen on this kind of option.

Shuruh ho gaye MC. This is second serious clash between Iran and Taliban not first. Pakistan should also get ready for this $hit show from taliban.
That’s why Pakistan has to finish the Fence and build adequate defensive forts along both the Afghan and Iranian Borders. It’s not impossible some low level commanders get carried away and try to start something, which could snowball. I hope the forts along the border have a “hot line” phone system to contact a high enough official, across both borders, to diffuse tensions before a personal fight escalates.

It’s possible, as the Talibs probably suspect the Iranians are still colluding with Tajikistan, Indians and Panjshirs to get back in if there is any suspected weakness. Talibs also know the Iranians probably have their proxies in Afghanistan, potentially looking to undermine their rule should tensions flare up, so they might be open to it; but probably with the Saudis, not the US because those wounds are still fresh on both sides. The Saudis would probably love the opportunity (considering what the Houthis are doing from Yemen) to cut off Iranian smuggling routes and maintain the containment strategy on Iran. Iranians would be smart to not let this border skirmish escalate, they have more to lose then the Afghans; a stable non-sectarian Afghanistan is in their interest. Saudis entering the picture is just bad news for the Iranians.

God forbid if situation escalates into bigger conflict then US and its allies will be happy to provide support to Taliban to fight Iran.

Taliban already have the goodies.

Taliban are going to make life miserable for Iran - just watch this space. Iranians have finally got what they deserved - an Entity (Taliban) which will use full force without any 'Diplomatic Norms or restraints'.

Pakistan talked with Taliban and gave whole Swat area to them to establish the Shariat-e-Muhammadi system.

But Taliban started conquering Bonir and then marching towards Islamabad.

There is no benefit in talking with Taliban.

At the end, it is not only Iran, but surely Taliban will try to march towards Islamabad once again too.

Correct i think most of fencing and fortification is done so that is relief. There were a few incidents at border crossing with Pakistan as well. These cavemen simply lack brains to comprehend simple fact that are a gurella force not an army. The day the fought like an actual army they will die.

pakistan better put a leash on these animals..... you have no idea what type of fire your playing with by sending bearded monkeys to attack the Iranian border.....

Iran is literally pakistans only neighbour that it has friendly relations with. that doesnt have territorial claims on pakistan. while the pakistani government as a whole is not anti-Iran. there is a very large contingent of their top military/intelligence officers that are in the pockets of the sauds/americans. and are willing to take shots at Iran for money....

Iran has been tolerating this for a long time... but its patience is not unlimited..... an Iran India alliance will literally be the end of the 70 year old~ pakistani state.
What? You think we actually support the Taliban? Lol.

Mate, listen here you obtuse oaf, Iran has done shit all against the BLF terrorists inside Sistan Balochistan. In CHABAHAR. They carry out attacks against Pakistan and then scurry off back to Iran. We tell you to hit them, and you do shit all. Then we have the zainabayoon brigade or whatever its called. Do i need to even talk about that?

Its not a matter of Iran tolerating Pakistan, rather Pakistan tolerating all 3 of ita neighbours pissing around. And if you even think about going against Pakistan militarily, then all i can say is, surrender. Just surrender
Try to Understand the Taliban Mentality:

Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan and People's party, all of them handed over the area of SWAT to Sufi Muhammad, in order to impose the Shariat-e-Muhammadi there.

But what did Taliban do?

Taliban simply captured Swat, and then they started advancing to Boneer and towards Islamabad.

Taliban will not get satisfied till the time they destroy Pakistani Stata and Constitution, and impose their Talibani Sharia.

Remember, Taliban still believe that Pakistani System of democracy is a system of Kufr.

Now Iran is 100 times bigger Kafir as compared to Pakistani State/Constitution for Taliban.

Therefore, it is a sure thing that Taliban would have invaded Iran sooner or later. No one could avoid this war as long as Taliban are there.

Pakistan lost 70000 Pakistanis in fight against Taliban. Iran will perhaps also loose so much or even more, while all the Jihadis from all over the world will join the Taliban ranks in fight against the Kafir Iran.

Nevertheless, one day Taliban will also come for Pakistan too.
Wrong taliban
