Boosting trade: Istanbul-Tehran-Islamabad train to commence operation next year

Any Pakistani out here to explain the track route in Pakistan?

Afghanistan is a dump so we can't go that way, simple

Otherwise it would go in a relatively straight line, straight across Iran, into Afghanistan and to Kabul and onto Islamabad

But as I said Afghanistan is a snakepit

So you are not sure about the practicality of the current proposed route?

this statement does not hold true for the route in Pakistan.

however i can understand no one will discuss this

Please elaborate on why you think this is not the case for the route in Pakistan.

If you or your antecedent could think of America [overlooking Kabul], a million miles from Pakistan I think I 2 T 2 I can be excused of thinking only locally. Istanbul is only 2,000 miles plus and in Asia [if Israel can be included in Europe].
It looks like 3 has upvoted your comment. Its complete misinformation. I believe you floor your statistics deceivingly to further your invalid purposes.

İstanbul lies >50.00000% in Europe. The city of İstanbul lies in Europe, not Asia. It's an Islamic European City not Asian/City as you claim. Geography proves this and I suggest you review it and stop focusing on Indus and Gangetic geography too much.

Also, İstanbul is 2982 miles away from Islāmābād by conservative measures. This is using the shortest physical path between the two cities (going thru Peshawar, Kabul, Herāt, Tehran, Zanjān). I have no idea where you get "only 2000 miles" from. Try to find out what is the distance via the route provided by some member earlier bypassing the Khyber Pass. I guarantee it will add another 1000 miles, so 4000 miles is the correct distance.

You are shorting your figures by over 50-95%, that tells me that you have severe errors in any factual information you post & need to have alerts on your posts for inaccuracy.

The definition of continents is not science. Purely from strict physical geography Europe is just extention of Asia or Eurasia. Where one ends and begins is open to debate. Israel is in Asia. Yet it is normalled given the privilage of being taken as European. For instance Israeli football play in UEFA. Israeli singers take part in Eurovision song contest. Cyprus is only 60 miles from Asiatic Syria or 40 miles from Asiatic Turkey but is always taken as Europe.

Thus if Cyprus can be taken as Europe when physically it is in Asiatic because of cultural, religious reasons [population is mostly Greek Christian with minority Turk] why can't Istanbul be called as "Asia"?

Any statement you post has some sort of logical fallacy drawn within it.

Your example of Cyprus is factually incorrect. No one considers Cyprus to be apart of geographical Europe. They a part of EU which is a mere political organization and distinct to geographical Europe.

İstanbul lies in Europe and not Asia. If you wanna say Türkiye in Middle-Eastern Asia fine. But that was not the pretense. Thread was about İstanbul and İstanbul is in Europe.

Finance by China ..it is basically major CPEC route. ML1 and if funded next will be ML2

Afghanistan will still have arteries into this. My question is usefulness of the route within Pakistan.

this

You can connect railways and the railway from Karachi can easily connect to this one. It's the same reason why it's not going to KPK which no one is complaining about.
