Inflation going down because of changes made by UPA last year => stronger rupee since month - the same reports coming now and the media says it's the Modi effect, although he didn't even changed anything yet!

Growth is picking up, because of more investments into India and more exports based on growing global demand again => experts announce revised growth rates to 6 to 7% within the next 2 years some months ago - the same reports coming now and suddenly it's because of the BJP government, although they didn't changed anything to improve the growth yet!

BJP sets up an SIT, to investigate black money cases - suddenly the eveybody believes that we get billions of money back in the next few month, although nothing has changed other than choosing some people to investigate these cases!

Infrastructure improvements in the NE in form of new road and rail links, just like more airstrips and helipads is going on since years as well - V.K. now says we need to develop the infrastructure and suddenly it's a complete new idea and something might change, although it's only a base statement yet!

Don't blind yourself and give credit for things they haven't done or haven't even started yet. Don't celebrate basic statements and wait for the actual work to start, to see if improvements will follow. Judge the BJP / Modi based on "achieving" the promises they made during elections (back to the old growth rates of 9%, getting the black money back, making Indian defence less dependent from imports), not just on some basic statements or actions within a few days, that logically can't have any results yet. Give them some time to actually govern and then lets see what happend really came out of the election promises and early statements or actions.

People of India has given him resounding mandate ...if he is denied the term for whatever reasons it will be unfortunate .
Let him focus on building nation than decimating congress ...
Can we keep negative thoughts about destroying congress aside and focus on positive aspect of rebuilding our nation ?

It's best to keep low expectations, that way you're not likely to be disappointed.

The strong rupee is because of a spike in FII following exit polls. CPI is coming down very slowly because of demand side manipulation. I.e The RBI being forced to increase increase interest rates even though the economy is moving slowly.

Sentiment drives the market much more than anything else in the short term.

What more exports? The rupee collapsed but exports increased marginally at best.

What growth in global demand? The US contracted in the first quarter, China is at <7% growth in the first quarter (from memory).

The Supreme Court ordered the Govt to set up the SIT back in 2011. Nothing was done. Within a few days of the new BJP govt, it was enacted.

The main cause of Congress rise in Assam is AGP.During AGP tenure,they almost ruined Assam.Corruption was rampant,all scheme were scams to funnel tax money,literally everything was shit.Then Congress came,gave a stable government,workers got their pay etc.Congress was not great but was considered less evil than AGP.
Also leadership of BJP in Assam is not good.No strong charismatic candidate is available

Its time to be a cynic now and evaluate what he does, not his statements

Exactly, but rupee crashed because of the inflation problem, not because of reducing growth which had global reasons, so improvments in the global financial situation now is also improving demand from India again, just like more investments into India will come back now.

Yes, so it's a good step in the right directions, but neither does it have achieved anything yet, nor does it make returning the money anything likely so far, which makes celebrating this as a solution or a gamer changer pointless!
Let them investigate, let them find proves for the problem, let that be followed by changes in laws and rules to prevent more black money being diverted outside of India and let the BJP put political pressure on tax haven, because that is the only way to get at least some money back and to really change somehing. But that requires not only action a few days after election, but constant work for several years to see any real results and not just "some" actions in the early days to let the mass believe that something is done. Beacause that's what the UPA did in this case as well and they also started with some actions and claims, while realizing that they couldn't solve the issue so easily. Now if the BJP can do it better great, but better with results and not only better with claims and basic actions.

Base statements are better than what the NE has got so far.

Sorry but that's nonsens! Do you deny that several new air bases were raised in the recent years, that several ammounts of troops were diverted, that road and rail constructions are going on in the NE? You can argue that it goes to slow or too inefficient and I surely would agree with you, but complete denial just for the sake of giving BJP, Modi or in this case V.K. Singh a point doesn't help at all.

Nobody has denied that the work has started, but that's the point it "JUST" has started and we will need months or even years to see actual changes of this work! So give BJP the time to actually work and then judge the results in an unbiased way.

Re: Black money

I doubt very much, that any significant amount of 'black money' will be brought back, however I do hope that further money can't be sent overseas without being taxed. India simply doesn't have that kind of clout yet where we can force international banks to divulge customer details.
