Who is more important than when as those who are elected to hold establishment accountable are already selected or were selected in the past by the very same establishment

That's why nothing can ever get better.

It needs to be openly admitted that ALL in power, whether SC Justices not taking suo moto of various problematic events, politicians not passing required legislation, generals selling out and creating massive long-term problems in exchange for extremely short-term stability (to smooth their time in power), the civil service refusing to reform and, finally and critically, the government lacking the will, vision and/or competence to force change in the above categories by appointing the most ruthless and capable people --- and backing it with, well, actual backbone!

Spineless bunch of selfish small-minded idiots rule us, and have been for decades. They set the (low) standards others cheer for. It's a sick charade! The biggest crime today is to excuse or defend this behavior. The proof is in the pudding --- Pakistan is NOT doing well. These people have such low aspirations and yardsticks that any year with 500 instead of 550 blasts / deaths is a massive achievement. We are constantly consumed by 'barely surviving' that we never enact policies and plant the seeds required to start 'thriving.' It's terrible. God save us from ourselves, and from low standards.

in my opinion Democracy is a system for those societies where literacy rates are very good and in those societies it delivered but in a country where people cast votes for the plate of Biryani what Democracy we are discussing here???? in next election in Sindh who will win election ???? then every one know the answer it will be ppp .... but why ?? is it because of their performance ?? or it will be because of feudal dictatorship? for last many years people of sindh are facing same issue they have no roads no health facilities no education yet ..people over here are ranting democracy... truth is our all sections of society behave like dictators on their turns... just recently we saw TLP .. it took 70000 people's lives to make our people believe that TTP is a terrorist outfit i wonder how many life it will take to make them believe about these guys ...
and by the way bring down the level of expectation from these people because they will bring same political parties again and again

He went through a process. He was elected an MPA and become minister of finance in Punjab, Minister for commerce and trade Punjab and eventually CM Punjab. The required qualification for becoming CM Punjab or Minister was to be an MPA. Later he became MNA and eventually become PM, the required qualification for becoming PM or Minister was to be an MNA. Is there any other qualification to become PM Pakistan?? Why couldn't the man on the left side of Gen Zia become PM?? Because he was unable to become MNA.

ISI distributed this money on behest of Nawaz Sharif?? They wanted to make Jatoi PM at that time but IJI got votes mostly from Punjab where leader of election campaign was Nawaz Sharif. Army/ISI can manage pre or post election things but whole of the election is a big thing to handle, they were unable to secure simple majority for PML-Q despite biggest ever manipulation in the history of Pakistan.

"They" create this impression to strengthen their position in the minds of politicians so politicians dance on their tunes. In-fact they provide information to some politicians about people perception and they switch their parties, they manipulate judicial system so they can save their puppet politicians e.g. Imran Khan is only maar of a Najam Sethi case, he will be proved a habitual lair by the decision of Shehbaz Sharif defamation case, he can be ousted by PTV attack case.

This is total rubbish statement that people vote for a plate of biryani, this is total disrespect for the people of Pakistan. If they vote for just a biryani, why can't King's Parties rule forever in Punjab, KP and Baluchistan??

He was not an elected MPA when he was made minister of Finance Punjab. He even lost union council election before General Zia and General Gilani took him in the cabinet as per selection
