Bomb in India's Assam wounds two

I never said the Maoists are separatists, or Telangana wants to separate from India.

There have been Maoists arrested in Andhra Pradesh recently, as well as in the past. When Bihar split & Jharkhand was formed, Maoist activities were increased. When Chhattisgarh was carved out of Madhya Pradesh, Maoists gained a permanent footprint there too. You might see the same as a result of Telangana.

Andhra is a different ball game. They've used tactics that would make apologists pee in their pants to crush Maoism. In fact, it is the only state to have used force successfully and stamp these dirtbags out. It was the first state to have become role model for all other Red terrorist infested areas to follow and remove the problem.

you should talk to our Pakistani friend, Rafi....

he ''traversed'' that region in 2008. ;)

.
Are you serious!? :woot: ULFA and Maoists are two poles apart. They hate each other to the core. Telangana is not Maoist demand... it is the people's wish for better management of the region's poorer district.

One might be separatist (ULFA), & other might not be (Maoists), but when it comes to hating the Indian government, they are the same:

Not exactly the first state ....West Bengal used such harsh tactics to in the onset of the Naxal movement in Naxalbari . The state congress admin crushed the uprising in 3 months .

Of course the people resented the hard handed tactics and stopped voting for congress there-after.

.

 Most Indians hate this government. Who doesn't? Scams, looting, hooliganism, votebank,... what does this government not do to get the love it wants from the people?

The point is while we hate this ruling government, we don't want our country to go back to stone age with these lunatic terrorists ruling us. So are you now going to tell us that all Indians are anti-India just because we all hate this government? The country forms because of people; not the other way around. In a democracy, government is for the people and by the people. When that crosses limits, measures are taken.

The Maoists and ULFA are just like TTP; insane gundas who want only gun law to prevail. None of them has any sensibility or sanity. Otherwise they'd target the politicians and not innocent people who have nothing to do with them. They are just savage terrorists that have to be put down using IAF bombing if necessary. Only good thing about Congress is Indira's use of force in 1967 when terrorists were bombed to extinction in Mizoram by the IAF and those handful that survived were thrown out.

Sometimes harsh tactics are necessary. But now the same people have realized how shyte are the Communists and kicked them out.

As for security apparatus, first we need to kick this ruling party out of power permanently if at all we have to prosper in the future.

The point was not the hate, the point was that the NE militants & the Maoists have joined hands against the Indian government.

First of all, there is almost no TTP left in Pakistan now: all of it has shifted to their safehavens in Kunar & Nuristan, Afghanistan. The Maoists & the NE militants however have their permanent presence all over India. There are other differences as well, just look at the histories of how both movements started to understand the differences between them.
