PESHAWAR: A bomb exploded with a bang at Indus Highway near Peshawar on Saturday, moments after a security convoy passed from the blast site.

However, the blast caused no casualties.

The explosion occurred in the jurisdiction of Badh Beer Police Station at Kohat Road.

Police is trying to determine the location and nature of the blast, sources said.

The bomb was planted in the middle of the road which went off with loud bang causing a huge crater on the road.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident. The police seized a stationary vehicle whose glasses had shattered due to the explosion.

Bombs normally go off with a bang!

When terrorist abound, this is not unnatural or alarming!

One gets used to it.

It is happening all over the world and it was happening even before 9/11.

The terrorists have broken their leash!

Well it didn't happen in Pakistan. Only in Palestine, Kashmire and some other countries which are involved in conflicts with these elements. But one thing is for sure they have broken their leash and it is time that first we talk to then and find a peaceful solution and if this doesn't work its time to confront them.

Musharraf spoke to the terrorists.

There was a pact.

And they did not honour it.

The time for talks, to my mind, is OVER.

You are totally right that these element didn't live up to their promise. What I think we must do now is confront them, bring them to their knees and drag them to the table for talks.

To bring the terrorists to their knees is not so easy, especially because you dont know where your enemy is, and before you know him, you hear a blast and he is gone, taking many of the innocent. Sucide bombing seems to have become the norm these days.

Too much is made of these bombs going off and hurting nobody. I'm sure some places in NY have worse violence in 1 hour than this.
