I am sorry if it hurt any one sentiment or something. Technically there is nothing wrong India buying oil from Iran. Plus Israel govt never requested Indian govt to stop buying from them.

But on moral point, one hand Iran openly threaten to attack or bomb Israel and you guys are giving them billions. Everyone knows the day Iran will get nuclear, they will bomb Israel very 2nd day.

There is a bigger picture behind buying oil from Iran, we can't buy all of our oil from Saudi Arabia as historically it is close ally of pakistan. And as of now we are getting better price deal from Iran to buy oil with 40% of payment in rupee which will ultimately used to buy Indian Goods and services in return and boost our currency. Its our requirement to diversify our oil import.

.
Thank god no one got killed in this blast ....

Is their any official release by HM or Delhi police ?????

. . .
So much friendship with Iran, it will be interesting to see how much Iranian oil India still wants to buy. We are ready to give our best tech and whatever India asks for even diplomatic or strategic help. But India always stands for Palastine and Iran against us.

This is not fair... what will India do now???

You are taking token words of politicians and comparing it to the strategic partnership we have? You do know that we have a government that so doesn't represent us in any real sense. We ourselves are fed up of them.

But Iran's oil issue has little to do with you guys.

This cannot be Iran... we have bunch of Islamist lunatics in our country too.. Heard of SIMI? IM? They'd make Hezbolla like angels.

Unfortunately, we've a government that protects such radical sickos for their precious votes.

Well already started blame game..

Israel accuses Iran of bombings in India, Georgia
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday blamed Iran and its “protégé” Hezbollah for carrying out the twin bomb attacks on Israeli diplomats in India and Georgia, accusing Tehran of being the “world’s largest terror exporter”.

Addressing lawmakers of his Likud Party, Mr. Netanyahu said, “In all those cases, the elements behind these attacks were Iran and its protégé Hezbollah.”

Two people were wounded in New Delhi and the bomb in Georgia was defused before it went off.

“Today we witnessed two more terror attacks — in India and Georgia. Iran, which is behind these two attacks, is the world’s largest terror exporter. The government of Israel and its security services will continue to cooperate with local authorities against Iran’s global terror,” he added.

Mr. Netanyahu said that other attacks in recent months in Azerbaijan, Thailand and elsewhere were thwarted.

An Israeli embassy car in New Delhi exploded on Monday close to the mission in a suspected coordinated terror attack after a car bomb involving an Israeli embassy vehicle in Georgian capital of Tbilisi was defused.

According to initial investigations, two motorcycle borne youths tailed the Israeli Embassy vehicle in New Delhi’s high security zone and allegedly placed “something” in the rear of the car when it stopped at a traffic signal.

In the past, Iran has accused Israel of being involved in a series of killings of it nuclear scientists involved in its controversial atomic programme.

Earlier, reacting to the incidents, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman has said that his country “will not allow terrorism to affect its agenda”.

It just shows that Israel and its citizens face terror inside and outside of Israel,” Mr. Liberman said. “We deal with it every day. We know how to identify exactly who is responsible for the attack and who carried it out,” he added in an apparent reference to Lebanese Shi’ite faction Hezbollah.

“We will not allow this to affect our agenda,” he asserted. Israel’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Yigal Palmor, confirmed the attack saying that the ministry was “looking into the incident and cooperation with local security forces is excellent”.

The incident in New Delhi comes a day after the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Hezbollah deputy leader, Imad Mughniyah, who was killed in a car bomb attack.

The Shi’ite Lebanese faction had blamed Israel for the assassination, vowing to avenge the same.

Israel’s bureau of counter-terrorism has been constantly warning its citizens and missions abroad around the time of Mughniyeh’s death anniversary of a possible attack.

India doesn't have option other than buying oil from Iran , and regarding India's Palestine policy you need to look at it from india's point of view . we need gulf countries to support us on kashmir issue and to corner pakistan .
regarding India Israel relationship i think and hope that it will grow even stronger in future we respect israel's help during crisis time but you go to understand india is a country with 300 million middle class and we dont have any oil source so have to depend on gulf countries for oil supplies.

NEW DELHI: An Israeli embassy official injured in a car explosion on Monday was"critical but stable", doctors attending on the woman at Primus hospital in south Delhi said.

"Tal Yehoshua Koren has suffered multiple injuries. She is in the operation theatre and is likely to undergo a spine surgery," ND Khurana, medical superintendent at the private hospital located in the diplomatic area, said.

"She is critical but stable," Khurana said, adding that the woman was brought to the hospital around 3.30 pm.

Koren is the wife of the defence attache in the embassy and an employee. The others injured are her driver Manoj Sharma (42), and two other people Arun Sharma and Manjeet Singh who were travelling in another car. The three injured are admitted at the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in central Delhi.

The blast took place at 3.18 pm at Aurangzeb crossing in the city.

We will not tolerate such attacks and have ability to track down attackers: Israel

JERUSALEM: Israel's foreign ministry has condemned the attack on Israelis in India and Georgia and said that Israel had the ability to track down those who carried it out.

Assailants had attacked Israeli diplomats in India and Georgia in near-simultaneous strikes on Monday, wounding two people in a car bombing in New Delhi, officials said.

Israel's foreign ministry said an attempted car bombing in Georgia was thwarted when the device was discovered before it went off.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But suspicion fell on Iran and its Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah, which both have deep grievances against the Jewish state.

Hezbollah recently marked the anniversary of the 2008 assassination of one of its commanders, Imad Mughniyeh, in a bombing widely believed to have been carried out by Israel. And Iran suspects Israeli involvement in a series of killings of officials and scientists involved in its controversial nuclear program.

The explosion in India tore through a diplomat's car, Israeli officials said. The Foreign Ministry did not identify the wounded, but Indian officials said the driver and a diplomat's wife were injured.

The explosion took place in the late afternoon close to the embassy, said embassy spokesman David Goldfarb. Television footage showed a charred minivan with blue diplomatic plates, its rear door apparently blown out.

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor would not discuss who was injured nor the extent of the injuries because it was a security matter.

"We are looking into the incident and cooperation with local security forces is excellent," Palmor said from Israel.

Authorities in the former Soviet republic of Georgia said an explosive device was planted on the car of a driver for the Israeli Embassy.

Shota Utiashvili, spokesman for the Georgian Interior Ministry, said the driver noticed a package attached to his car's undercarriage on Monday and called police.

Police found a grenade in the package and it was defused, Utiashvili said. He did not specify where the car was parked when the device was discovered.

There was no immediate comment from Iran. But speculation will undoubtedly be raised over the possibility of Iranian-linked payback for assassinations on nuclear scientists and other covert plots that Tehran has blamed on Israel's spy agency Mossad and Western allies.

Last month, a director of Iran's main uranium enrichment site was killed in a blast from a magnetic bomb placed on his car. The official, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, was at least the fifth member of Iran's scientific community killed in apparent targeted attacks in the past two years.

Iran accused Israel of being behind the attacks. Later, Iran's official news agency IRNA said it had "evidence" of alleged US and British involvement in the Roshan killing.

In a signal that Iran could strike back for Roshan's killing, Gen. Masoud Jazayeri, the spokesman for Iran's Joint Armed Forces Staff, was quoted by the semiofficial ISNA news agency last month as saying that Tehran was "reviewing the punishment'' of "behind-the-scene elements'' involved in the assassination.

"Iran's response will be a tormenting one for supporters of state terrorism,'' he said, without elaborating. "The enemies of the Iranian nation, especially the United States, Britain and the Zionist regime, or Israel, have to be held responsible for their activities."

Iran also has blamed the US and allies for a sophisticated computer virus, known as Stuxnet, that was programmed to disrupt the centrifuges used in uranium enrichment. Iran said the virus was detected in its systems, but claimed no serious setbacks occurred.

Israel targeted in India: We feel very secure in India, says Israeli envoy
NEW DELHI: India will not tolerate attacks on diplomats on its soil, Israel's envoy here said on Monday, adding that Israeli diplomats "feel very secure" in India.

"It is very clear to me that no one in India is going to tolerate such a vicious attack on diplomats on its soil," Israeli ambassador Alon Ushpiz told TimesNow television.

The ambassador, however, declined to discuss security issues related to the Israeli embassy and its staff in India.

"We feel very secure in India, we have the full cooperation of your authorities, we have full confidence in the Indian authorities," he said.

He added that India and Israel had "very solid cooperation" in many areas.

Indian external affairs minister S M Krishna has telephoned his Israeli diplomat to offer his apologies over the attack, the envoy said.
