Honestly, I think the 'deadlock' is more hype than anything. Businesses are carrying on as normal, the everyman doesn't really care as long as there is stability and his essentials are provided. BNP and Jamaat leadership are in tatters and it seems the only ones agitating are headless middle and low level party workers.

That does not mean to say i support one party politics. Hasina has taken maximum advantage of the situation but that is the game of politics. Khaleda played it all wrong, she should have taken part in elections, she should have taken the several other opportunities for compromise that came up. No one has the right to hold our progress bac.

Now i think she should just plan for the next election and ensure that she has enough lobbying around the world to ensure they are free and fair.
