USG saw the Balakot crisis, for what it was. A PR exercise done for Mr. Modi, gone awry because PAF opted to respond in kind, for the bombs dropped in Pakistan proper. These words clearly dispel the propaganda on part of India media that talked about 300 dead people in Pakistan, as a result of these strikes.

I think US takes a far more clear-eyed view of things on the ground, than we give them credit for.

. . .
He is right but he is talking about Feb 27 night when Pak falsely claimed that Indian threatened missile attacks which led to dozens of phone calls form US and others but it later turned out to be fake .

Also there was never a crisis because only loss on India side was a rusty 40 yr old MiG-21 which is not valuable enough to spark a crisis especially as pilot was soon to be retuned

.
In the world of bollywood, Indians were actually claiming a 1000 pound spice bomb that penetrates a tin can roof top , not destroying the structure but killing everyone inside and than their netajis can even count the dead bodies.

Some of the netajis counted 200, some 250 while others counted 300.

He's very much talking about Feb 26 not feb 27...as he narrates that when two militaries are engaged in a spin off it can't be ignored.....earlier stunt pulled by India can be as it was just a PR stunt

Whenever Indians talk about 27th feb there attitude is" so what Pakistan raped us we weren't really a virgin in the first place".
Have some shame.
