As a society we are not developed at all.
For example a person who lives in poorest of Lahore's neighborhood, always has water standing in front of his house or kachra , he too declare that Lahore Is Paris, even though he cannot even place Paris in the map, have not even seen the glimpse of the city.
It is what he is told. It what his mind tells him is the best because he has not seen the other options. He has no exposure. His world is limited to his city or few cities.

What is wrong with morally right films that teach you how to be a good person or just good movies in general?

Lol now this mullah brigade arrived. Most of us are devout Muslims. We love our religion and don't need any certificate. You would totally allow people to watch Indian movies and dance to their songs but don't need Pakistan to do anything. You stupid goons if we have our own industry we would only show what we think appropriate. Now our childern see crazy films from Bollywood learning their culture and lifestyle that is quite foreign even to Indian public.

Planned trolled 15 years and I haven't watched any Indian movie and yes its over 15 years and for songs I bet there less than 5 percent in india who understand proper meanings of songs urdu poetry basically they make songs to Please Pakistanies .

Bro I even think Bollywood bs is harmful for Indians themselves as they condone rowdy behavior of boy/men with girls. Thus, high rape statistics in India. Same immorality is being spread in Pakistan through these movies.

Lol bro I don't even remember the name of the last Bollywood film I watched which was probably well over eight years ago or so. I have stopped watching TV altogether.

Truthfully speaking, @Mr.Nair is right. Sadly, a considerable number of Pakistanis watch Bollywood as if there is no tomorrow. To them it is simply their type of entertainment.

I've had this discussion with such fools as to what it is all about; admittedly they say that it is after all Hindi versions and (although Cheap looking) copycats of Hollywood movies with 6 equally cheap songs and fight scenes with the usual local twist of a skimpily clad woman in distress. That's the usual formula but once in a while, there are bound to be a few odd goodies in between or so they say. To them it is "just a good time pass".

The songs that come with the package , inevitably stick to their psyche and find their way into mobiles, car and home sound systems, weddings and what not.

My point is simple, most of these people are unaware of the underlying propaganda being fed to the Indian viewers which is meant to distract them from the reality of Indian Society, deep rooted religious and ethnic discrimination and hatred for lower castes. It is meant to show the bubble gum India, all shining and progressive and keep the masses happy in a make believe world of glitz and glamour where there is equal opportunity to every member of the society and the underdog wins by sending a few dozen thugs to hell with a single bullet and a few more by hopping around (they actually call it dancing) like a deranged animal in celestial love (he@#).

The considerably large segment of Indian public which hates that, is conveniently addicted to and loves to watch Pakistani Dramas or soaps and even the new lot of movies coming out since a while like the rest of the Pakistanis.

So what are we discussing here? what else is new!

Movie Producers are businessmen and they wont release in a geography unless its making money for them.

No bollywood movie releases in Iran/ Sri Lanka / Myanmar, because there is no market/ there are no admirers / there are no profits for film makers

They are released in Pakistan because there is fan following which makes money for film makers
