"Bridge on the River Chai"

. .
In these acrimonious times the film industries of India and Pakistan need to make bridging films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. As one PDF member's profile-pic says, make chai not war.
It's all business...what attracts audience more... It will take ages to revive Indian cinema pre 1980s ... When they made the best of the best classic and art movies ...

If you get the chance please watch 'Rocket Singh : Salesman of the Year'. One of the best Hindi films in recent times and Ranbir Kapoor's best effort. The film is about the corrupt and ruthless corporate life. Also an inspiration for anyone wanting to start their own business.

Also watch 'Harud' which is set in Kashmir and made by a Kashmiri. The films has the touches of Iranian films. Full vid here.

There's an official ban on Bollywood films in Pakistan, not only are asking fellow Pakistanis to break the law, but whats worse is You voluntarily want them to waste 2.5 hours of their lives, the audacity...

That's my point. The cinema associations of the two industries should open for each other.

but whats worse is You voluntarily want them to waste 2.5 hours of their lives, the audacity...

'Rocket Singh...' is a good film.

And please watch 'Harud' which is set in Kashmir and made by a Kashmiri. The films has the realistic touches of Iranian films. Full vid here.

I agree a ton of B'wood films are crap, particularly the Khans but did you happen to watch Irfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's films? They're a class apart and so are the films of those smaller self-made actors

These films marketing department overshadowed the few classic release. Now I don't know any classic release. All I see chikna hero and dancing girls ..few fights and item number... that's all ... I wish there should be a site where only selected classic movies should be posted. Because, in busy life its ver hard to track next art release.. etc ..
