Not sure. Armed forces recently spoke about common platforms to utilize the same resources of each other forces. Choosing Rafale could bring down maintenance and weapons cost down.

Man, if we can embargo Israel due to occupying Palestine, then surely we can impose sanction to India as well. Oil and gas is something every one needed, we can surely skip India for that.

It is. The question is at what cost? Add one platforms for maintenance, weapons etc? Hell we can't even integrate our basic stuff ourselves. We have to send them.over to Boeing factory so they can inspect and integrate it.

Rafale M even if inferior to SH, will fill IN responsibilities. Maintenance cost will be low.

Attacking Pakistan will provoke many Muslim nations. 1970's oil embargo is another example where Muslim countries even embargo oil to USA due to its support in Arab-Israel war.

Invading Kashmir is not something that will be seen as only Pakistani problem, this is huge thing and even international community will likely to impose sanction to India despite will not as severe as what Muslim countries will do

Afgan-USSR war and Bosnian war is also another example.

You need to see the magnitude here. Muslim will be united if it is about India wanting to invade Pakistani controlled Kashmir.

Different with Iraq where Saddam wanted to invade Saudi and had invaded Kuwait. He is viewed as bad leaders by Muslims leaders. Saddam also the one who started attacking Iran.

My friend that time Indonesia leadership was very close to Pakistan more than India.... today its a different thing... today India and Indonesia are more like buddies.... however I agree and thankful that Indonesia under Sukarno did not pull any military action against India that time otherwise we would have surely lost control of Andaman & Nicobar.....

Kashmir is a disputed territory, India has legitimate claim over it. India won't invade any sovereign territory.

Indian think tanks are smart unlike Pakistani. They dont want American system to be their front line weapon against anyone. Indians dont trust Americans but they’re taking full advantage of their relationship with US by getting its 2nd layer of defense weapons for instance, chinook, C17, Apache, Posiden etc. They are comfortable with French and Russians.
