Boeing lands $6.3B order for 787 Dreamliner planes


Boeing said Tuesday that it had reached an agreement to sell 10 new 787-10 and 10 new 787-9 airplanes to Korean Air. The planes carry list prices of $6.3 billion.

The 737Max will be fixed soon and all planes will return to service. The 787 serves a different segment.

...International Airlines Group (IAG) for 200 of the beleaguered model—easily the largest order of the show’s first two days.

The companies said they signed the letter of intent (LOI) at the show. The LOI splits the orders between the MAX 8 and MAX 10 variants. It also is a major blow to Airbus, which is the sole narrowbody aircraft supplier to IAG’s airlines.

Shouldn't 737-MAX problem be solved by now? It is just a software patch.
