Boeing 737-8 Max engine issue forces emergency landing

China in no hurry to return 737 Max to service
Your loss. And remaining behind, as business as usual.

What loss u r talking about when airliner can claim compensation during the period their plane can't fly due to manufacturer fault?

While our ARJ-21 are delivered to customers flying for domestic airline since not much international airliner are needed. :enjoy:

The only loser is Boeing and as proven by this thread. Another rush job to refly B737 Max and engine problem happened.

The 737 is a proven platform. What was problematic was the avionics, nothing to do with airframe and powerplant. WHEN, not if, the Max is returned fully to service and all INTERNATIONAL airmen are confident of Boeing's fixes, your China will be the only one standing holding an empty bag. And behind US, as business as usual.

Maybe the reason your China is not readied to recert the Max is because China's avionics experts are not so good...???

Our CAA Chinese engineer r real engineer while FAA are all crooks who will sold their soul whoever can offer the best price.

Mounting evidence, through news reports and congressional hearings, shows the FAA’s rules for certifying planes’ safety fundamentally conflict with meaningful oversight, as they effectively give the aviation industry the power to regulate itself—a situation bordering on legalized corruption.

Really...??? How many contributions have China made to aviation? Am not talking about modifying stuff but actually discovering stuff. You guys even had to steal technical information to make your planes fly.

See how u try divert the point. Its not about how much contribution to aviation history but to act with integrity to ensure safety for passenger airliner. In this case, no matter how much glory u have achieved previously r useless when u lose your trust to corrupted corporate and compromise the safety of passenger.

FAA failed and not fit to talk about certify passenger airliner. No one trust FAA. :enjoy:

You must think we are rubes here on PDF by comparing ARJ121, which is barely operational, to a 737, an aircraft with a long legacy and one of the world’s best-selling aircraft.

Plus, the ARJ121 is powered by GE engines and equipped with Rockwell Collins avionics. Perhaps should ground the aircraft and replace shoddy American components with superior Chinese technology.
so is mighty teja made in india?

You talk as if aviation have been perfect in the past and the Max is an anomaly. Part of that past glory is learning from mistakes, whether the mistakes came from technical or human sources, and rehabilitate oneself. In that, we will regain the public trust. But of course, your China can always try to convince the world to buy only Chinese aircrafts because Chinese engineers will NEVER take risks and modify anything for any reason.

LOL.. They already follow and its you still sleeping in the 60s -90s..

The European Union and India have banned the Boeing 737 Max from flying over their airspace to ensure passenger safety.
They join a long list of countries in suspending the plane, including the UK.
It comes after an Ethiopian Airlines plane crashed on Sunday, killing 157 people on board. It was the second fatal accident involving the 737 Max 8 model in less than five months.
US officials say the aircraft are still safe to fly.

Earlier today, the UK's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said it was banning the plane, joining other countries including China.

US is just like you, old, out of times and full of yourself. You need to be replace as you r irrelevant in 21st century.
They where scamming everyone for decades and the cat is out of the bag now. Countless bans and hundreds of cancelled orders cant be covered up. Their usual partners in crime only play along with covering up their shit when they wont feel any consquences, like Americas and Australias warcrimes. Their only hope is try to change the topic and divert attention elsewhere while waiting for everyone to forget about it.

.
So who in the Chinese crowd here is willing to go on record to say that China will NEVER recert the Max?

If none of you guys are willing to go on record, at least just for this forum, then you can count your China among the 'partners in crime' and covering up our shit.

The Chinese Birdman Who Got U.S. Aircraft Giant Boeing Flying
Sep 24, 2015

It isn't well known outside aviation circles that the first engineer at U.S. aircraft maker Boeing almost a century ago was a man from China, Wong Tsu – and his story is one that doesn’t sound possible in the current era of distrust between the two nations.
Mr. Wong’s hiring by Boeing produced almost immediate results.

.

This is one rare instance where recognition is given AFTER A CENTURY.
And many more where CREDIT IS NOT GIVEN.
Not to worry, China is developing their institutions and increasingly can now fund their own research so the Chinese need not have to do it in the US.
China was poor back then, and did not have the benefit of RICHES TO FUND THEIR RESEARCH, by ROBBING THEIR COLONIES and WORKING THEIR SLAVE LABOR.

AND GENIUS,
WHAT IS YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO AVIATION OTHER THAN CLEANING THE TOILET
.?
.

.
Boeing et all will continue to do what they do best -- leading the world in aviation while China continues to follow.
I remember you are a south Vietnamese, aren't you?
