BNP to soften its anti-India stance for now

Very much agree with the post. We need a revolution to install patriots to power instead of these corrupted garbages. It can't be achieved through what Anna Hazare is doing in India, at least not in Bangladesh. We need a violent revolution, led by youth. Because if we fast, our govts would happy to see us die, rather than leaving their hot seat.

Unfortunately, I don't see it happening in near future. Our only hope is that young leaders from both of these parties come forward to rule rather than these stinking old farts, who seems to be ruling for eternity.

Good to see you back after so long .....

I feel your frustration.

The masses supported Manmohan Singh and the Congress but now it appears both are hated for corruption.

this perticuler thread is about you and your personal anti india vendata , not about MMS or Hajare , there are several dedicate threads on them ..so , stick with the topic of this perticuler thread...

now its time for india to send few bags of money in BNP accounts....atleast Bangla'is wont shout on the name of BNP here;)

I was making am analogy and comparison. Another Indian pointed out that the Bangladesh masses must like the BNP and AL since they voted for them. I was merely suggesting that being voted to power does not mean everlasting support or popularity. MMS and Congress are an excellent example of this truth.

there are several threads on MMS and Hajare to discuss the matter in detail , but you seem not finding any time to post even a message on those threads...

therefore , your perticuler views are restricted on few perticuler type of threads only ..
so , better stick to the topic...

If any change does not come soon then living in Bangladesh will be felt like living in hell. I support minus two formula, if that is not possible then a corruption free firm BNP. Many nations are protesting now, why can't we? We have experience of war and protestation. We have fit and fearless people in wrong place, so we need to place them in right place and need to be firmly united and we need stimulus.

No more feeding to the deceitful politicians. We should stop them feeding, ultimately, they will die.

Another important thing: Bangladeshis are segregated over Hasina and Khaleda leagues. So only something new can unite us. Only a new thing can pull us each other. Otherwise, people will still be divided on Mujib, Zia, India, Pakistan, Razakar, Dalal, and what not.

Dear Munshi

My dear friend tell me any country in the world were there is no corruption

You are asking for a armed revolution - see the status of people who have made armed revolutions ( Libya, Syria etc), your country will go back at least by 50 years

Regarding corruption in India - you are aware about corruption in India because we have a working system of Investigation, Accounts General & judiciary who are finding the corrupt and punishing them , in other countries like Pakistan, France , Bangladesh etc there are corruption & scams bigger than india but they are not public or not body have the courage bring them up ( for instance I think Zardari could be the richest among all politicians in the world - didi he get this money as salary or through any good source)

lastly regarding Manmohan sing , even though we indians call him a puppet or silent , he is one among the best personalities you can see in politics , he donot talk or justify like professional politicians

.
Not only me. Why do you think both parties are detested in Bangladesh? Politics is now divorced from the wants and needs of the people. BNP did have popularity but its corruption and now pro-Indian stance will make it irrelevant. The AL is also hated so there is no party that represents the interests of the people and the nation. We need a Middle East type revolution.
Middle east needed revolution because they had dictatorship there...and as faar as i know Bangladesh is a democratic country...so if you think both the main political parties of your country are not good enough to rule your country then why don't you make your own party and fight election...who is stoping you and as per your articles most of the people in bangladesh don't like pro-India stance .....So with Anti-India stance in your party manifesto it won't be difficult for you to get funds and votes for your party.......

Revolution?? it is easy to say, difficult to do. Who will do this ?? A neutral student?? BD is not Egypt. If a student takes part in Anti-Govt. Protest the following night he would be beaten by Chatroleague or Chatrodal in his hall. A teacher? There is shada dol or nil dol to prevent him. Whole country is monitored by those thugs. A revolution is possible by the army only. And they are more interested in UN jobs. So ?? It is BNP that is our only chance now. Let us pray for a corruptionless BNP. Hope tarek rahman has learnt something during 08.

Bangladesh is actually a hybrid regime. Just because there are elections, it don't mean it's a democracy. Elections are only part of a democracy.

I agree with Munshi's assessment of the opposition BNP, it really is a toothless opposition.

It is no longer the party that Ziaur Rahman envisioned. His sons are a sad, sad story.

Solution would be to ban student politics altogether. I would support the use of brute force against the violent Chatra Leagues. As far as UN missions go, our security is more important. The sooner they get their heads out of the sand, the better.

There is a saying that Bangladesh is an unfinished revolution.

I really doubt that Tarek Rahman would change his habits.

Certainly, the factors are there for civil war should Hasina win another term through manipulation and outside support. But, let's just hope that doesn't happen.
