BNP-Jamaat unleash targeted violence on Hindus and Christians in Bangladesh

NO.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said if any of his follower attacks on other religious people he is not Muslim. Its a duty of Muslims to protect religious places of other religion. Its clearly documented in Najraan treaty he did with Christians.

@ Now, see, @IamBengali has become a sushcha musulman, he is now doing "Waaz" citing example from Kuran and Hadis. Earlier I saw Labong was doing the same thing . What a height !

@ There is no prove that it was done by the BNP or Jamaat ? This is a very old technic of RAW. Ealier they used to do in western front mainly on Kashmir Sector and now they have shifted to Eastern Sector. I still remember, it was in January 1971 once Pakistan Army was shifting/concentrating the troops on East Pakistan, suddenly they made one drama by hijaking the Indian Plane and landed at Lahore Airport. Soon the duffer Bhutto came to congratulation the Kashmiri militant and the militant atonce destroed the Indian Passenger Aircraft. On this plea India stopped the air route from West Pakistan to East Pakistan. all these were well planned by RAW even in those days. Many Indian planes were hijaked from Nepal and landed at Kabul by the RAW elements.

@ In 1971, once Pakistan Army was still in the process of concentrating their force and shifting to remote areas, soon the Hindu Bengalese under the instruction of RAW fled to India. It was something like the patient had died before the arrival of Doctor and the blame was given to Pakistan Army. But it does not necessarilly mean that Pakistan army had not killed the Hindus ? In one estimate it was found that out of one crore refugees who fled to India 90 lacs were all Hindus.

@ In 1946/47 during the Pakistan movement these Hindus(less the Tafsery Federation) had no role for the creation of Pakistan rather they acted against us. Even in 1971 liberation movement these Hindus hardly joined the Mukti Bahini. There were very few who joined physically. You would mostly find them in singing song of Rabindra Shangeet and "Khobar Tafsara" in "Shadhin Bangla Beter Kendra".

@ After independence most of these Hindus became the informer of RAW and "Bongo Bumi Andolun". Many people were caught. Mostly these Hindus earn money here and deposit their money on the other side. I know, one Hindu Businessmen of Chittagong who took lot of loan from the Govt Bank and next day went to India.

@ Once the problem of Rohinga was going on, suddenly we saw all the aged old Pegotas were suddenly burned and destroyed and the blame was given to BNP and Jammat. On scrutiny it was found that it was the Govt party itself involved on it and there evidences that RAW instigated it.

@ Now come to Jessore issue once the fake one sided election is over @IamBengali has come with a new technic and his brother "Jagoran Munchu" has already made a plan to march towards Jessore on 10 January 2014.

Whenever the Hindu community is attacked the perpetrators are always BNP and esp Jamaat activists unless proved otherwise. Because of their zeal to blame the nationalists instead of helping to finding out the real miscreants, I think, it's Hindus like @IamBengali who are responsible for the minorities' not receiving due justice.

Rohingyas are a concern for us because they are taking refuge in Bangladesh.....Besides Arakan(place where Rohingyas come from) are of strategic importance to us....how many times do you see us screaming about Iraq or Afghanistan....But as many Indians on PDF pointed out...Bangladeshi Hindus are of no concern to India!

They are of no concern to us . However i can point many times when your members shout over syria and all . YOu have those guys on your side we have such guys on our side as well .

Jamaat is determined to ensure the security and dignity of the minorities; Acting Secretary General urges to stop propaganda against Jamaat-e-Islami
Tuesday, 07th January, 2014

Acting Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman issued a statement on 7th January, 2014 expressing his deep concern in relation to the attacks on minorities and the ongoing anarchy and violence across the country. His full statement is as follows:
“Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is a party that truly believes in democracy and the systematic trend of politics. It carries outs its activities in accordance with the Constitution. The long history of Jamaat-e-Islami clearly testifies that it has not been involved in any vindictive or destructive activity.
We are observing that as the ongoing democratic movement of the opposition is in the final stages, a number of incidents of violence and vandalism are being carried out throughout the country in a planned manner to divert public attention. We vehemently condemn these planned attacks. We further urge upon the authorities concerned to form an independent judicial commission to probe the aforesaid incidents to properly identify the real miscreants and bring them to trial.
We are also noticing with great concern, that since the onset of its tenure, the Awami League government has been blaming Jamaat-e-Islami for every act of violence without taking effective steps to carry out any investigation. Earlier, the government and the pro Awami League media made efforts to accuse Jamaat-e-Islami of involvement in the Pilkhana massacre. Similar attempts were made to implicate Jamaat-e-Islami in attacks on minority establishments in Ramu, Cox’s Bazar and in Sathia, Pabna. But all those efforts were in vain as their campaign was subsequently proved to be false. A leader of Jubo League (an associate organization of the Awami League) was arrested while attacking the Shahid Minar (a monument to the Language Movement) in Bogra. Moreover, another Jubo League activist was arrested in Satkhira while setting fire to the houses of minorities. A mobile court sentenced him to imprisonment for one year. In Magura District, 3 members of Jubo League were arrested by the police while throwing petrol bombs on a police van. The Principal of Shujabad Primary School of Shajahanpur Upazilla in Bogra District was arrested while setting fire to his own school. Although he was caught red-handed, he attempted to shift the blame upon the Jamaat-e-Islami. All these incidents have been published in the media. They are nothing but a part of a conspiracy.
Certain vested quarters always blame Jamaat-e-Islami for every offence perpetrated in Bangladesh. Due to this malpractice, the real criminals are encouraged to engage in further criminal acts. In this situation I am calling upon the government to end this mockery with the countrymen. Further, I am categorically stating that, if any member of Jamaat-e-Islami is found to be guilty of any act of violence by a proper investigation, then Jamaat-e-Islami, is ready to assist the administration to take punitive measures against him. But in order to get such cooperation, the administration is required to act legally, justly, fairly and independently of any pressure or threat.
I want to reiterate that we have always remained vocal and will be more assertive in future in ensuring the respect, dignity and security of the minorities in this country.
Finally, we call upon the citizens of this country to remain alert as to conspiracies to create anarchy and to play a pro-active role in securing the voting rights of the people.”

Maybe it's partly to do with Suranjit's provocative remarks against BNP and its key allies. I watched an interview on ATN yesterday. It was insanely retarded.....even talking about 9/11 and BNP at the same time (seriously, how are those two related?)

The fact is that man alone plays a critical role in wooing his community to vote for the AL. He is very much a prime and central figure for where Hindus politically stand today. Not a great example they are making out of him in the party politics of Bangladesh. That may partly explain why these are happening.

The man is corrupt as hell too. And gets away with it:
Suranjit comes under fire

Even Hindus who are passive/indifferent to party politics will be affected. Much like pretty much everyone in Bangladesh.

what did they do?
why are they not they killing bangladeshis instead of hindus.

Prothom Alo published a provocative photo yesterday where it showed many Hindu women wearing vermillion casting votes in the election behind two Muslim women wearing Hijab. May be after seeing that photo BNP-Jamaat did this massacre.
