BNA chief arrested.

.

Look how heavily armed these india backed india funded Indian salves are. Compare them to Kashmiri youth fighting Indian army with pistols or sometimes with no guns at all.
Why do we let india heavily arm their terrorist slaves against us while we remain quiet and don’t do much? What we do isn’t enough. Kashmiri youth who want to resist Indian occupation don’t have guns or only pistols.
Pakistan should flood iok with weapons.

Look closely,

why do you think all except one face are blurred ?

Baloch Nationalist Army, a militant organization active in Pakistan's Baluchistan province, has claimed that its leader Gulzar Imam is in the custody of the government of Pakistan. A Pakistani official claims that Gulzar Imam was detained in Turkey and handed over to Pakistan.

Baloch Nationalist Army has announced the arrest of Gulzar Imam in a statement, in which it is said that Gulzar Imam had gone missing some time ago, on which the organization investigated and confirmed evidence that Gulzar Imam was missing. Later they are in the custody of secret agencies of Pakistan.

Gulzar Imam belongs to Panjgur Prom area of Balochistan. He entered student politics in the year 2003, at that time he was in the Baloch Students Organization i.e. BSO Aman Group and when all factions of BSO merged in 2006 and BSO Azad was established, he BSO was elected president of Panjgur region.

Gulzar's brother Nasir Imam has also been in the militant outfit Majeed Brigade. He was killed in the attack on the FC headquarters in Panjgur this year.

When the Pakistan government started a crackdown on the BSO, Gulzar Imam moved to the mountains and joined the Baloch Republican Army and became its commander.

Pakistani institutions claim that BRA is headed by Brahmdagh Bugti and that this militant organization was formed after the death of Nawab Akbar Bugti.

Pradhan Baloch, former central leader of BSO Azad, says that when Ustad Aslam Achu and Bashir Zeib strengthened their grip on the Baloch Liberation Army and took local decisions without being related to Murree Sardars, then Gulzar Imam was influenced by it. He first formed his own faction in the Baloch Republican Army, after which he established the Baloch Nationalist Army i.e. BNA.

Gulzar Imam had said in one of his interviews that their main differences started from the leadership's attempt to negotiate with the government of Pakistan. It is difficult.

Amir Rana Gulzar, director of the Pakistan Institute of Peace Studies, which works on militancy trends in Pakistan, calls the arrest of Imam an important development for the government of Pakistan.

According to Aamir Rana, Gulzar Imam, along with BRA and UBA factions, founded the Balochistan National Army and expanded its operations to Lahore and southern Punjab.

"Gulzar Imam has been very popular among the youth of Balochistan, especially BSO Azad."

Aamir Rana says that the Taliban are now expelling Baloch militants from Afghanistan, now they have two options either to go to Iran or stay in Pakistan, but Iran's conditions are very strict.

"The BNA statement said they were conducting an investigation that appeared to be looking internally."

Faran Jaffrey, UK-based director of the Islamic Theology of Counter-Terrorism, says that this is an achievement and progress, but it cannot be called an extraordinary achievement.

According to him, 'Gulzar Imam formed this group with his loyalists who also did some actions, but it is not a big group.'

"The Baloch militant movement is at the grassroots level now, it doesn't matter if two or four commanders are picked up or killed, like when Aslam alias Ichhu was killed, it was hailed as a major development but We found that this did not make a significant difference. Those who are reflective may be demoralized for some time but later they appear with new courage and strength.

He said that if Gulzar Imam provides any information to the government of Pakistan, on the basis of which raids are conducted or some people are killed, then the rest of the people will join some other group. Choose another commander from the same row.

Pakistani institutions unofficially confirm the arrest of Gulzar Imam, while some people including journalists have been mentioning it on social media, but the official arrest has not been revealed.

Analyst Aamir Rana says that according to the procedure, several institutions in Pakistan investigate, only after that they are handed over to the police or CTD.

People have to understand, the Afghan Republic led by anti Pakistan state determined to ally with India against Pakistan with the presence of NATO and the U.S was a long term strategic threat if not all out nightmare for us

It had to fall or change, now it wouldn't change so our only option was it's fall

So last year when Afghanistan collapsed it meant billions of Indians investment down the drain and lost
It meant multiple Indian embassys and spy holes destroyed
It meant the end of NATO on our borders
It meant the end of the U.S on our borders
It meant the end of a afghan Republic who was linked to our enemies plotting against us

The TTp, BLA etc were supported by the Afghan state and NDS, their destruction meant the end of money being funneled to these groups

Now let's be clear THEIR WOULD BE FALLOUT, what's happening now is the fall out it will last a period of at least 5 years

But in the meantime we will gradually degrade and destroy our enemies, we will cause afghans infinite more pain then they cause us, the same with the TTP and BLA types

Our biggest headache is our own political jungle stupidity, PDM MANHOOSI and economic stupidity compounded by floods

We need a strong, patriotic party back in charge with a strong majority to make changes and pull the rug from these ETHNOCENTRIC JAHILAT parties and so called nationalist idiots
Let him hang after he divulges the most valuable secrets

. .
Security forces of Pakistan are doing their job, unfortunately the turmoil has shifted from Balochistan to KPK.

Not really

BLF/BLA are still pretty very active thanks to safe havens majorly in Iran and to some extent Afghanistan

Hopefully Pakistan would force Iran to abandon its policy of giving space to these terrorists

.
Looks quite a decent educated man.

Security forces apprehend outlawed Baloch National Army founder in intelligence operation

Gulzar Imam is founder of the banned outfit Baloch National Army.
  • He was also instrumental in formation of Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar.
  • ISPR says arrest of Gulzar Imam Shambay is a serious blow to BNA.
RAWALPINDI: In a high-profile and successful intelligence operation, the lead intelligence agency successfully apprehended a high-value target (HVT) Gulzar Imam alias Shambay, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Friday.
The military's media wing revealed that he has been a hardcore militant as well as the founder and leader of the banned outfit Baloch National Army (BNA) which came into being after the amalgamation of the Baloch Republican Army (BRA) and United Baloch Army (UBA).
"BNA had been responsible for dozens of violent terrorist attacks in Pakistan including attacks on law enforcement agencies (LEAs) installations in Panjgur and Noshki," the ISPR said.
The statement mentioned that Gulzar Imam also remained as deputy to Brahamdagh Bugti in Baloch Republican Army (BRA) till 2018.
The military's media wing stated that the apprehended militant was also instrumental in the formation of Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) and remained its operational head.
"His visits to Afghanistan and India are also on the record; his linkages with hostile intelligence agencies (HIAs) are being investigated," it stated.
The ISPR further mentioned that reportedly, the hostile agencies also tried to exploit him to work against the state of Pakistan and its national interests.
"He was apprehended after an innovatively conceived, carefully planned and meticulously executed operation, that spanned months over various geographical locations," the statement read.
"The arrest of Gulzar Imam Shambay is a serious blow to BNA as well as other militant groups, which have been attempting to destabilise the hard-earned peace in Balochistan.
"Apprehension of a militant leader of this stature demonstrates the capability and resolve of LEAs to uproot the menace of terrorism as well as speaks volumes about the successes garnered through supreme sacrifices of unsung heroes," the military's media wing said.

'High-profile arrest'

While speaking to Geo News, former defence secretary Lt Gen (retd) Khalid Naeem Lodhi said: “I know how valuable and well-embedded intelligence operator Gulzar Imam was and how deeply he was involved in terror activities in Pakistan”.
Lodhi said that Pakistan security forces were on the hunt for him for a long time to curb the terror activities of BLA and BRA as he was their ring leader and planner.
“I think it was a big achievement of our forces due to which other terrorists will also be nabbed and this terror network can be possibly busted.”
The retired general termed it a very high-profile arrest and compared it with that of Indian spy Kubhusjhan Yadav.
The development will also help to dismantle the support network of terrorists, he noted.
To a question, the former military official said the hostile agencies must be in shock over the arrest, terming this a setback to the country's enemies.
“The miscreants joined hands with TTP and ISIK to increase terror activities in Pakistan after the takeover of Kabul by the Afghan Taliban.”
He also urged the nation to show support to the military as it was sacrificing their lives to provide security and not to adhere to the propaganda campaigns launched against them.

A “hardcore militant” and founder of the banned militant group Baloch National Army (BNA) was captured, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), who described the detainee as a “high-value target” with suspected links to hostile intelligence agencies operating against Pakistan.

“Gulzar Imam alias Shambay was apprehended after an innovatively conceived, carefully planned and meticulously executed operation, spanned over months over various geographical locations,” the military’s media wing said in a statement today.

The statement, however, did not disclose the exact location where the militant was apprehended.

The report of the apprehension of a wanted terrorist surfaces on the same day as a high-profile National Security Committee (NSC) meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Over the past few months, the law and order situation in the country has worsened, with terrorist groups executing attacks with near impunity across the country.

Since the talks with the TTP broke down in November, the militant group intensified its attacks, particularly targeting the police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and areas bordering Afghanistan. Insurgents in Balochistan have also stepped up their violent activities and formalised a nexus with the TTP.

According to statistics released by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies, an Islamabad-based think-tank, January 2023 remained one of the deadliest months since July 2018, as 134 people lost their lives — a 139 per cent spike — and 254 received injuries in at least 44 militant attacks across the country.

According to the ISPR statement, Imam was apprehended in “a high profile and successful intelligence operation”.

The military said the captured terrorist was a hardcore militant, as well as the founder and leader of the banned BNA outfit, which was formed after the merger of the Baloch Republican Army (BRA) and the United Baloch Army (UBA).

It stated that the BNA had perpetrated numerous violent terrorist attacks in the country, including targeting the installations of law enforcement agencies in Panjgur and Noshki.

“Imam also remained as deputy to Brahamdagh Bugti in the BRA till 2018.”

The military’s statement added that the apprehended militant was pivotal in creating the Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) and served as its operational chief.

“His visits to Afghanistan and India are also on the record, while his linkages with hostile intelligence agencies are being investigated,” it said.

It further said the hostile agencies also tried to exploit the militant to work against the state of Pakistan and its national interests.

“The arrest of Gulzar Imam is a serious blow to the BNA as well as other militant groups, which have been attempting to destabilise the hard-earned peace in Balochistan.”

The statement said the arrest of the militant leader of such a stature demonstrated “the capability and resolve of the LEAs to uproot the menace of terrorism as well as speaks volumes about the successes garnered through supreme sacrifices of unsung heroes”.

It's Turkey
Sounds like Turk bros catched your enemy.
To be honest, BLA and TTP are the two top priority for Pakistan at the moment.

At one point in time, in the future, Pakistan will need to go after some elements of the Taliban, that is for sure. These elements are very easily manipulated by Pakistan’s enemies.

Good news the Baloch terrorists are apprehended.
It's a shame he's arrested and not shot. Now eventually he will be released like Uzair Baloch, Abid Boxer, Ahsanullah Ehsan etc.
That is too sane of a punishment for him.
Hanging won’t do any good. Put them in permanent quarantine labour camp, away from humanity.

Put all enemy of the state to include corrupt govt officers in these camps.

Make them dig a dam or two.

.
He also urged the nation to show support to the military as it was sacrificing their lives to provide security and not to adhere to the propaganda campaigns launched against them.

Hilarious. We’re supposed to stop questioning the military’s political interference in Pakistan because THEY ACTUALLY DID THEIR JOB in apprehending a militant leader.

This is like congratulating a parent for taking care of their child. You’re supposed to take care of your child.

.
what? I was only trying to help you. you need to get a VPN so that you can show your location at someplace in Blochistan then you can preach and incite terrorism against Pakistan Army. however here on PDF you are not gonna get many takers since almost everyone here is exact replica of you i.e they want a war in Pakistan but will themselves stay a safe distance from it.
What becomes of him now?? We put him on ICE??
This man would sell his own mother if it meant proving Iranian innocence 😹 I'm glad others can see this too
Just enjoy the tomato smashing.
In a era of bitcoins I doubt India have much problems funding baloch terrorists. Who go all the way to film any blasts to get their checks from India.
You aren’t saying that from Ukraine, are you ?
