I have no idea, but if you ask me BMC's preferances are irrelevant. If procurement officials order Aselsan SARP they can be easily mounted on over 200+ Kirpi Vehicles. But again both platforms are new in market so far only clear advantage of SARP is being of Aselsan brand :)

As for marketing of Kirpi this move might prove to be a mistake.

Because it is unprofitable. Aselsan will produce SARPs for bigger projects, like Altay etc.

Also Aselsan's current production lines are busy with producing STAMP&STOP.

Why? I don't see the distinction...

As I know, Aselsan will produce Sarp in the same assembly line with STAMP and STOP. Currently the line is busy with producing STAMPs for our oil rich friends.

It's understandable, I just hope we don't make any rash decisions.

Both systems are in same class so the army may not want to wait for SARP but then having three(+Elbit RCWS) different systems for one purpose in the inventory is not like Turkish Army.

I mean, these gun platforms aren't foolproof they are most likely to be damaged with light-arms fire. They'll need field repair and spare parts.
