Blasts rock Indian Hyderabad, 33 dead

NEW DELHI: At least 33 people have died and several others injured in three separate blasts in Hyderabad on Saturday evening.

The blasts took place at the Lumbini Park near the state secretariat in the city when a laser show was underway.

The other blast happened at an eating outlet in Koti area of the city. The cause of the blasts is not known.

The injured have been taken to the Gandhi hospital of Hyderabad. A red alert has been sounded in the city.

Eyewitnesses say the toll in the blasts could go up. TDP leader Yerran Naidu has said the blasts are a ghastly act.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has condemned the bomb blasts and expressed deep concern.

Police say the blasts were meticulously planned and executed.

For every bomb blast in the world, you can find at least one link to Pakistan in one or another way. The Hyderabad blast is no difference. GOI should act tough and send a strong message to Islamic terrorists and Pakistan. Congress should stop the Muslim appeasement policy and take strong measures.

NEW DELHI: Central security agencies on Saturday night said that banned Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami militant outfit of Bangladesh was possibly behind the twin blast in Hyderabad in which 30 people were killed.

Sources in New Delhi said that there could be similarities between the explosives used in Mecca Masjid blast in Hyderabad in May this year and tonight's explosion.

It was suspected that Shahid and Bilal, who were the masterminds of the Meacca Masjid blast, were also behind tonight's explosion.

Shahid is reported to be in Karachi and is instrumental in bringing people for arms training from Hyderabad.

CBI has already procured a red-corner notice from Interpol against Shahid.

heck hang on,what about the last attack?stuff like this pisses me off.I mean the BSF is so aggressive towards Bangladeshis and with the fence around us,how can Bangladeshis get inside so easily?Obviously Muslims could possibly be behind this,but blaming Bangladesh and ISI without some solid evidence is lame.
