Agreed. The PM and the establishment need to turn focus on Afghanistan and pressurize their govt otherwise attack TTP in Afghanistan personally. Our main focus needs to be in neutralizing these elements as we must secure our house and thus our focus must be on securing country.

I don't know why our establishment is so dumb. We are trying our best to bring AT on dialogue table while TTP leadership is living comfortably in Afghanistan claiming responsibility for their terror attacks in Pakistan. Religious extremism can make a man cross all limits - I think the case of ISIS terrorist who 'executed' his mother was widely reported some days back. Clearly, there is no shortage of brainwashed idiots to carry out the most depraved act in name of religion. The latest tragedy fits quite well into the depressing pattern of all the other tragedies from the past - in Pakistan, Nigeria, Iraq and Syria, amongst other places. I guess the only long term solution to this problem can be to take religion out of public-life/politics, and to stop using terrorists as strategic assets. I sincerely hope we can see such a dawn in our time.
