Blast in mosque near Peshawar: Live updates – The Express Tribune
An explosion took place in a mosque during Isha prayers in the Sulaiman Khel area of Badbar, located 20km from Peshawar.
Casualties
Express News correspondent Jehangir Shehzad reports that five people have died, while 26 people have been injured.
Nature of blast
The nature of the blast has not been determined as yet. Meanwhile, the bomb disposal squad has reached the site to determine whether this was a suicide blast or a planted bomb.
More than 70 people were present in the mosque when the blast occurred.
The intensity of the blast was such that nearby buildings were also damaged in the explosion.
Rescue efforts
Emergency has been declared in the Lady Reading Hospital, while rescue teams have been dispatched.
According to Express News correspondent Ehtesham Bashir the injured are being taken to the hospital in private vehicles at the moment and so far three bodies have been received while 21 injured including three injured children have also been brought in so far.

Pakistani, Indian or afghanistani friends - it would be interested to know the opinions aout the possible reasons for these blood bath & possible ways to stop them.
