Blast in Lahore's RA Bazaar

This thread is really going the Pune thread way. Here we have 39 families orphaned and we are more bothered to prove who can score a nastier point...You think that any of the families who are grieving at this time will be bothered about the points we are discussing here.. ?? Shame on us all..

Please guys think of the at least 200 families who suffered in this brutal attack. stop(all of us) scoring cheap points on these victims bloods.

Frankly speaking people scoring points here do not have heart, they are more concerned about winning the argument.

For god sake.plz stop bashing yar.there are many other threads for it. .this thread is for RIP to innocent ppl. . Who has nothing to do with politics and terror. They all r common ppl like us..we must give respect to,, all who died , irrespective of nationality. humanity is our main obligation.. May god give the hell to bloody terrorists..

Pakistan Government should think for Pakistan first before Pakistan can support WAR ON TERROR for USA & INDIA.

LAHORE: Panic gripped Lahore as five more blasts rocked the city within minutes of each other here Friday evening following a pair of suicide attacks that killed at least 40 people and wounded 95 others earlier today, ARY NEWS reported.

The five blasts in the evening hit Iqbal Town area of the city within an hour, leaving at least two people injured, police and rescue officials said.

Earlier in the day, a pair of suicide bombers targeting army vehicles detonated explosives within seconds of each other, killing at least 40 people in A R Bazar and wounding nearly 100.

In evening, the first blast occurred at around 08:40 p.m. outside a home, in the backyard of a police station at Kashmir Block of Iqbal Town. The blast was apparently caused by powerful firecrackers that rocked the area, creating panic and fear among the masses.

The explosion was as powerful as it shattered the windowpanes of nearby houses and shops, eyewitnesses said. A man was reportedly injured in the blast and was rushed to nearby Shiekh Zaid Hospital.

The second explosion was occurred just few blocks away from the first blast site at around 9:15 p.m. The blast hit a Mehran car parked outside the residence of a Pakistan Air Force’s official.

The car was apparently targeted with a hand grenade or firecracker that severely damaged the vehicle, police officials who hurriedly rushed the scene told ARY NEWS. One man was injured in the attack who was also rushed to the nearby medical facility.

The first two blasts were followed by three more explosions occurred in the same area within minutes of each other and were triggered by the same nature of firecrackers, police officials said.

The third blast hit Edhi relief center in the area at around 9:30 p.m. followed by the fourth one occurred in a nearby street after ten-minute-interval, the channel added.

The fifth explosion hit the Karim Block, a commercial area of Iqbal Town unlike the previous ones which rocked the residential blocks of the town. Police have cordoned off all the five blasts sites and investigations have been launched.

Bomb Disposal Squad’s officials said less amount of explosives were used in all the five blasts, which were apparently aimed at creating fear and panic instead of damaging installations and causing human loss. Police also detained a suspect from the third blast’s site, the channel added.

Police contingents from around the city have been called in Iqbal Town while the area SP has asked the residents not to leave their houses. Heavy traffic jam is also being witnessed at all the major arteries leading to the town as the roads have been blocked for security reasons.

Defeating terrorism means defeating evil India.
All the terroism eminate from this evil.
Pakistan did not invaded Afghanistan and Pakistan did not made any operation inside Pakistan as long there was no bomb blast and TTP surfaced and demanded sharia while them self they drink vodka and go to homes of villagers to ask for marriage!
What is their objective.... finances and intelligence source to carry out attacks on sensitive areas!

Go sleep at your home.

This has everything to do with india and keep your fake concerns to yourself

True face of indians can be seen on Bharat Rakshak where they celebrate every such act of murder against Pakistanis.

Does that leave any doubt who wants such things to happen and who is behind the carnage?

Indians know that their time in Afghanistan is up and they cant hide under america's balls for long hence they are upping the terrorist activities inside Pakistan.

InshaAllah Pakistani will over come all the odds and come on top of all it spineless and vulgar enemies! :pakistan:

Give me the link where Indians are celebrating loss of innocent life in Pakistan or anywhere. In Pakistan people openly collect funds for "jehad" against India - show me one such instance in India.

You can either bury your head in the sand and accuse India-USA-Israel for all your woes. You are lying when you say that all terror activities in India are blamed on Pakistan - there are enough incidents where the responsibility lies with the ULFA or the Maoists.

Additionally, if any Indians are indeed involved in shedding innocent blood - they should be hung in Lahore itself. Killing innocents can never be justified and there is nothing more cowardly then killing unarmed civilians - this includes women and children for crying out loud. I am honestly tired of seeing innocent blood being spilled - what point are you trying to make by killing innocents?

LAHORE: Two suicide attackers blew themselves up near security forces vehicles in R A Bazar area of South Cantt as crowds gathered for Friday prayers killing at least 39 people including five security personnel and injuring 95, Geo News reported.

"Thirty-nine people were killed and 95 wounded in the attacks," Inspector General Police Punjab Tariq Salim Dogar told reporters after visiting the blast site.

"We have collected concrete technical evidence, which will help identify the attackers. Both the attackers were on foot," he added.

Five security men were dead and 15 injured in the attack, security sources said.

"There were two suicide bombers who attacked two military vehicles within the space of 15 seconds," SSP Operations Mohammad Shafiq told Geo News.

"The heads of both attackers have been found," he said.

Rescue workers and paramedics rushed to the R A Bazaar, a densely populated area of the city. The area was crowded as the blasts occurred shortly before the main Friday prayers were to start.

Emergency has been declared in city hospitals and injured were shifted to CMH and other hospitals.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and traffic was blocked. Media was not allowed to go near the scene.

The bombers walked up to Pakistani army vehicles in the densely populated R A Bazaar area of Lahore, blowing themselves up as people sat down to eat before the Friday prayers were to begin, a senior official said.

The bombers targeted the cantonment of Lahore, an area home to army officials and military installations, as well as hospitals and schools run by the military. The area includes civilian homes, shops and restaurants.

Mohammad Nadeem, a young man in his 20s whose white shalwar khamis was stained with blood down the front, told AFP he was saying prayers in the mosque when he heard the first blast and rushed out.

“I saw people crying and running in different directions. They were panicked,” he said.

“The second blast took place very near a military vehicle. I sensed real danger and started running.

“There were scenes of destruction in nearby restaurants and shops. There were broken chairs and tables and other items lying everywhere on the ground.”The army cordoned off the tree-lined street with security officials saying at least five soldiers were among those killed when the twin blasts shattered windows and sent debris flying from nearby buildings.

“Thirty-nine people were killed and 95 wounded in the attacks,” Tariq Saleem Dogar, the Punjab provincial police chief, told reporters on live TV.

“We have collected concrete technical evidence, which will help identify the attackers,” he added.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Pakistan's mainstream Taliban faction claimed a suicide attack Monday that destroyed offices used to interrogate militant suspects, killing 15 people, and pledged further attacks.

“We have the heads of both the bombers. There was an interval of 15 seconds between the two attacks. They were on foot. Their target was army vehicles,”added police official Chaudhry Mohammad Shafiq.

LAHORE: Another blast has hit Lahore’s Iqbal Town, Geo News reported Friday.

The latest in a series of blast has taken place at Bismillah Chowk in the densely populated town of the provincial capital.

So far, eight blasts rocked the cultural capital of Pakistan, in which more than 40 people were killed and 100 others injured.

According to police, the low-intensity blats are aimed at spreading fear and panic among citizens.

No casualties were reported in these attacks.
