The quetta blast happened when they were defusing an IED, waziristan happened because the military convoy went over an IED. Both could have been avoided with better training. The situation for the most part has improved in other parts of Pakistan. But the Lahore blast is more concerning, and the lack of targeted operations there is a bad sign.
