There is no need to panic. Lahore has a very good surveillance system and most probably terrorist behind this blast would be arrested just like guys who did blast at Hafiz Saeed residence

1. Little to no accountability by state of marxist fifth columnists who are polluting minds of ethnic minorities in state sponsored educational institutions. All those ethnic councils of pashtun and baloch students are den of potential ethnic terrorists. Nothing is being done to quell it

2. Lack of response by Pakistani state on ground against its mortal enemy. Kashmiri militancy is on freeze for now. There is a reason you see calm on LOC. Khalistani militancy is long dead. Enemy doesn't need to worry about any cost from its side. Pakistani state is now limited to useless statements and speeches by its PM and ministers

I don't think it's a case of ever being "free" of it. Given the neighbourhood and the economic and political situation Pakistan is in, terrorism isn't going away, it has to be managed better and it is being managed better than 10 years ago. This is one that has gone through the safety net of the agencies, but it's a rarity in urban areas now, than even compared to 5 years back.

The broader issue is whether there is the will and capability to strike at the financial and planning nodes and those who we know are the puppet masters, within their own bases. There should be greater investment in external intelligence, particularly with regard to counter-terrorism.

BLA and other Balochistan militant organisations never attacked civilians in Punjab. This is a message of new organisation that this how they will attack.

TTP has stopped attacking civilians long time ago. ISIS and this organisation are a danger to civilians.

Actually they have

Albeit in very limited numbers

UBA has a history of attacking marketplaces and hitting civilian / soft targets.

starting with 2014, it was UBA's first attack outside Balochistan where a bomb went off in Sabzi Mandi, Islamabad.
Lahore park was also work of Baloch militant groups.

BNA is a newly formed alliance of BRA & UBA after their love affair of BRAS did not work very well
