a boy (wearing white cap,black loose jacket) crossed the road and naval constable whistled and tried to stop him and then he blew up

Security officials at the main entrance of the headquarters of Pakistan Navy located at Margalla Road in Islamabad intercepted a suspected suicide bomber when he tried to enter the building. According to DawnNews, the bomber then blew himself up, injuring three security personnel.

Another police official, Mohammad Nishat, said that the blast hit on a road close to the naval complex in the centre of the city.

ISLAMABAD: A Navy official Ashraf has been killed and three others injured in a suicide attack at the entrance of Naval Headquarters in sector E-8 in Islamabad.

According to sources, a suicide bomber aged between 16 to 17 years blew up himself when Naval guards stopped him at the entrance of the Naval Headquarters. DIG Islamabad Bin Yameen has confirmed that it was a suicide attack. The blast shattered the windowpanes of nearby building and vehicles. Security forces have cordoned off the area and emergency has been imposed in Islamabad hospitals after the incident.

Actually this suicide bomber, 18 year old kid (police received a phone call from a Taxi driver about an hour before the said blast that a fair colored kid who does not seem to be a local and nor does he speak the language is seen roaming around the F-8/E-8 area aimlessly) blew himself in front of the main entrance to the Naval Complex (Zafar Chowk) when he was asked to stop by the Navy guard standing outside the said post. He was trying to enter from the wrong side of the main gate. Fortunately the said blast occurred at 1.36pm and the Bahria School is generally closed at 2pm and this intersection is crowded with kids.

My SALUTATIONS to the brave Navy soldiers who prevented this @sshole in entering the complex and doing greater damage.

its not NHQ gate NHQ is at least 7-8 Km from this point
