Quetta bomb blast leaves 20 dead, 30 injured

QUETTA: At least 20 people were killed and dozens others severely wounded in a suicide bomb blast at vegetable market in the Hazar Gunji area of Quetta on Friday morning.

TTP expands footprint in Balochistan as Quetta Safe City project remains in limbo

It has now been confirmed that the explosion was due to a suicide bomb blast.

The most of the victims were vegetable vendors, who were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex and Civil Hospital, while the site of the blast was cordoned off by the security forces.

No one claimed the responsibility of the suicide bomb blast yet.

Probably ISIS-K. Balochistan is really ideal for such groups, ample sects and ethnicities to recruit and target, and the troops are stretched thin.

Our judicial system is broken government seeks "consensus" on military courts extension as if we have alternative .All development in insurgency ridden areas cleared during recent operations has been left to military .we have failed to reform the police .Both government and opposition are not interested in implementing NAP nor they take country's internal security seriously.
