I suppose the security forces were sleeping once again when this attack occured. They are slowly becoming perfect at grabbing innocent people and putting them in jails.

I was a person who always defended the security agencies. Even I am tiring of this. Its their duty to provide security to the people of Pakistan. Instead no proper action has ever been taken against the Taliban, Sipah E Sahaba (or aswj) and the Lashkar E Jhangvi which are the most major terrorist groups in the country. They must be stopped.

Can you suggest a plan of action (which is not currently followed by security agencies in pakistan) that can be a game changer (but doable at the same time)

how could they execute such a big attack within few hours... this requires months of planning. this can't be done without the complicity of security agencies...who are sharing the intels and loop holes..

you are overlooking the incompetence and the incapability of a personnel to identify the potential threat - or the suspected terrorist. it doesn't have to be an inside job in every single case.
I have worked in the Security industry so I am talking out of my personal experience on the field

Nothing investigated, nothing learned. Till the next tragedy. Rinse and Repeat.

If done by LeJ, than thats the result our mistake ..Honestly, Pakistan can't afford direct war with them.. 80,000 + volunteers spread all over Pakistan makes them more stronger... Only detaining them must be the policy ... If we kill them, then the consequences will be extremely bad .... worst !!

And we should accept some of their demands like death penalty to those who insult Sahaba (RA) ... and convince them to negotiate with Shia militant groups like TNFJ and Sipah Mehdi, etc for something like a ceasefire

If they are SO incompetent, then no wonder the terrorists are winning and eating our lunch too. And it is not just the Police who are so grossly incompetent, if you apply the same standard to other security agencies.

There are always more to it, its not just the personal traits, because the capability, competence can be improved by training and effective supervision. So don't take your all guns out on the poor Constable who got 5 children back at village to feed.
Infact some of these Constables will be physically more stronger than any of us, BUT same cannot be said about mental capacity.
For which the training plays an important role @RescueRanger - actually this brings to a question, if you can ask, are we giving any sort of Training, which could help a Counstable, ASI,SI identify the threat?
