It's a terrible idea. Not only is it expensive, because merc-ahem-I mean, PMCs charge stupidly high prices for their services, but are also highly ineffective.

Warfare should be the business of states, not private corporations.

My point of view is very simple , Defence industry has great potential to grow in Pakistan , Sales of JF 17 is good example .PAF saved billions of dollars in JF 17 Project.
The missile technology can also be given to friendly countries to earn billion of dollars .
10% GDP of US depend on defence industry .

Contractors are a force-multiplier in virtually any theater of operations, and can be crucial to managing war-effort in distant locations. Contractors are mainly ex-military, experienced and can take care of themselves in difficult situations, probably more effective than uniformed men in difficult situations due to lack of 'restrictions in how they are supposed to conduct themselves'.
