BLA Watch

Local News agencies reported a Surprise Military operation conducted by Frontier Corps Baluchistan in district Kharan and Kalat, resulted in the total defeat of Baloch Insurgent Groups.

Security Forces conducted the Military operation with the help of pro-Pakistan Baloch Militias aimed to suppress the Terrorists Baloch Liberation Front headed by Allah Nazar Baloch. Baloch Nationalists admitted the success of this operation that sustained time span of more than 11 hours in two separate districts that were gripped by Baloch Separatists.

Many Baloch Nationalist Parties have given a shutter-down strike call tomorrow throughout Balochistan against the military operation. Although the main target Dr.Allah Nazar Baloch escaped but reportedly more than 73 terrorists are killed where as 126 are apprehended by the Security Forces. Huge number of military presence aided with couple of Gunship Helicopters were seen in Parod, Somalo, Nemargh, Dash-e-Goran and Lijje area.

BLF comrades Faisal Baloch, Arzi Khan and Saeed Ahmad Mengal are also among the dead terrorists. Both of these Districts are cleared off from Insurgents and Pro-Pakistan Baloch militias much famously known as Baloch Musalah Defah Tanzeem has taken over the control. Many BLF fighters have escaped along with their supreme commander Dr.Allah Nazar prior to the operation. Security Forces claim that terrorists will return to reclaim their losses hence further Security measures are being taken to their consideration.

FC is still on hunt of Allah Nazar, this has started since December and over 200 miscreants have been killed in Balochistan mostly belonging to this person.

Why didn't they kill the 170 LEJ/ASWJ insurgents they arrested? 200 people were killed and not a single one captured? I think they should focus on LEJ and Taliban. Finish them off and move to the BLA/BLF

FC is targeting the BLA/BLF in Balochistan not the Army. (They have however killed LeJ members too in recent operations). However, Army has focus on TTP and allies.

How come no one was captured. Just a question. Are the army using extra judicial killings like they were used in Swat? I am not against it and realize the pressures especially with a 4% conviction rate for terrorists but please do tell me.

You can ignore the question if you wish. There are usually injuries and arrests too. Was it an airstrike... that way there are no arrests? But in this case it was a targeted operation on Alllah Nazar's area of influence and lots of his guards were probably killed

In this thread, let me quote post #16:

66 members of BLA, LeJ and SSP are arrested by FC and huge cache of weapon is recovered.

There you go!

Forgive me last hope for the impudence but I believed there was disproportional force used against BLA while less force was applied against Jhangvi. This is a canard you believe?

To be honest, in my very personal opinions I believe that LeJ wasn't targeted at all (specifically). There were reports of unknown terrorist activity and after the Intelligence identified the hideout, they turned out to be BLA men getting aid from LeJ and SSP

So there is a very link between Jundullah/LEJ and Baloch insurgents-this is a very important revelation... I might contact you as a source for an article soon. Is it okay if I include snippets of this conversation for my next article?

Also do note I always wondered Jundullah is a sunni terrorist organization very similar to the LEJ in its specific targetting of Shias while at the same time it promotes itself as Baloch. So there was always a clear nexus. I hope to write my next article on this selected topic. Wish me luck and thanks.

My point and worry in earlier posts-though I deviated was indeed that SSP/LEJ aren't being treated as the threat they are while more force is used against the BLA/BRA/BRF/BNLA... even BSO-A activists which condone their activities though are not actively involved in militancy often are found kidnapped and dead. I do not see this as a threat as these have proven links to BLA etc. But then what about LEJ that is wreaking havoc at the same time? Forgive me if I questioned too much. I will try not to bother you unless I just have a few more questions for my next article. Is there a name you wish me to qoute you by. If so PM me. Last hope will look wierd

You can talk about this matter in PM and I will do the best I can, if appropriate. Good luck.

"Frontier Corps Balochustan launched heavy operation in Khudabadan, Tasp, Garmkan and Prom. Scores of terrorist leaders have been killed mainly from Liberation Factions. BLA commander Abdul Rehman Murri has also been arrested.Details of this operation will be made public very soon."

Today I received a letter from B.L.F Chief Dr.Allah Nazar Baloch in my office.

He stated that I will be killed soon after the elections. I have respond to him in a Press statement today on Daily Tawar briefing that When I die, please cover my dead body in Sabz Hilali Parcham so that I feel proud even after the death as a Pakistani Muslim. I sacrificed my Son for Pakistan who was more precious to me than my life. Dr.Nazar, do you think I am afraid to sacrifice mine country?
