Pakistani Facebook is filled with them, whether they are BLA, ISIS, or Taliban sympathizers. I have been witnessing this for years now, believe me nothing will be done. I have seen very educated People in Pakistan openly proclaim their support or love for banned terror outfits and terrorists (many of them who work for the government or security forces!) on Facebook, nothing happens to them. Its almost as if the government has no interest in fighting extremism and radicalism in our society whatsoever, who would have thought?

When Musharraf went after the foreign funded so-called 'Baloch' militants, he was destroyed by the media and the judiciary! The 'Missing Persons Cases' became a national cry when, in reality, most of the 'missing persons' were almost certainly connected with the militants. Who can forget that destructive judge Iftikhar Chaudhry restored by the stupid segments of the Pakistani society?? The Pakistani military had to backpaddle on tackling the militancy and we have been seeing the results. No innocent person should ever be hurt but some inevitably become target in large operations. But the larger picture is restoration of peace in Baluchistan.

And now, due to the political compulsions of the new ruling coalition, more appeasement is going to the Baloch parties. This entire 'Aadha Teeter, Aadha Bateir' (neither here or there) system needs to be shelved for at least 10-15 years and make a govt of national consensus to tackle the national issues with focus, instead of political expediency. Otherwise, Pakistan doesn't have the time or the money in its dangerous geopolitical situation to keep playing the same old game!!
