FORMER cricket superstar Imran Khan yesterday gave his support to two terror suspects accused of encouraging guerrilla warfare in Pakistan. Giving evidence at a London terror trial, the sportsman-turned-politician said had he been in the same position as the two men in the dock he would have been prepared to take up arms.

He told the court he would have been willing to use violence against the Pakistan government if he had been from the country’s poorest province of Baluchistan, where he said the army had killed and kidnapped citizens, made 75,000 homeless, rigged elections and controlled the courts.

Imran, chairman of the Movement For Justice political party in Pakistan, was giving evidence during the trial of two Baluchi men.

The pair are accused of encouraging acts of violence against former dictator General Musharraf’s government from their London base.

Hyrbair Marri, 40, of Ealing, and Faiz Baluch, 27, of Wembley deny assisting terrorism and inciting murder abroad. The trial continues.

Balochi, 27, and his co-defendant, Hyrbair Marri, 40, are on trial at Woolwich Crown Court accused of gathering information to help the Baluchistan Liberation Army, which is proscribed in Britain, and inciting murder in Pakistan via websites from their homes in London.

Asked by Balochi's defence counsel, Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, whether the people of Balochistan had "other avenues" besides military to "assert the will of the people", Khan replied: "Absolutely not. In Balochistan there was military action going on, [so] there was no way of redressing the people's grievances."

So what if he's Harbiyar Marri's brother? From everything I have read and heard he doesn't share the same views as his brother and is committed to Pakistan as well as outright rejecting the assertions and claims made by the BLA.

I personally hate Nawaz because I see him as nothing more than a corrupt sellout no different from Zardari. These monkeys seek to undermine Pakistan's industry and sellout to niggers in India who are occupying Kashmir and gora's in the west who are seeking to undermine our strategic interests.

That is definitely not the case.

I think the problem lies in the peoples perceptions that this is a war being fought between Pakistani's and/or Muslims in general and needs to stop hence the aversion to escalate matters.

However, Pakistani's need to understand that our country isn't occupied and that virtually anything we want can be accomplished through relatively peaceful means. If the army/government interfere in making Pakistan state that abides by Sharia and pressing the independence of Pakistan from this war of aggression meant to occupy Afghanistan meant to also destabilize/enslave our country only then can things be escalated.

BLA must be crushed because for starters it isn't fighting for Muslim rights or the rights of Pakistani's. All Pakistani's are essentially descendents of our ancestry from Mehrgarh (our races starting point located just outside of modern day Quetta) who spread across the whole of modern day Pakistan (including Kashmir) particularly around the Indus River. We are a separate people from Indians who are the descendants of those from the Belan Valley (who spread across the Ganges) and a separate settlement in Tamil Nadu (migrated straight from Africa). The BLA, who themselves admit to being the descendants of invaders not indigenous to the territory, seek to cut us all off from access to our ancestral roots/land which must not be tolerated.

The TTP by all accounts not only works against Pakistan's interests and the imposition of Sharia in Pakistan but by all respects are also supported by the CIA/RAW through their proxy the Afghan NDS. It is as if the group was specifically created to get Pakistani's to stop supporting the freedom from occupation in Afghanistan just like the BLA was created in the 70s by the USSR to do the same.

I personally support a lot of what the PTI says with respect to virtually everything else except certain foreign policy matters like relations with India which cannot move forward until they end their occupation of Kashmir.

I do believe in peace efforts with those individuals who are upset with domestic policy concerning Balochistan and certainly would not label all of them the same way. There are many who are angry, just as there are many across Pakistan that have concerns about the direction the country has been traveling, so it's foolish to just cut off ties with anyone from a particular district/tribe simply because of views shared by those who also happen to be from that same district/tribe.

I personally think it's a good move to get parties like the BNP involved in mainstream politics and isolate groups like the BLA which are seeking to undermine Islam and Pakistan. Furthermore, it's a great move to empower those who love Pakistan and seek to empower it into positions of authority.
