India isn't planning to seal off borders. And not needed offcourse. But the need of time is to seal the border and make leak proof. So illegal passing of Human/trade/narcotics and terror can be checked.

That's the whole issue Sir, that's what vote bank politics is all about, Bangladeshi immigrants cross the border illegally & than settle in India, both parties at center & state of WB issue them voter Id on the promise that they will vote for them in elections, the whole demography of the border states has been changed due to this shocking policy. Bangladeshi illegal immigrants have now become one of the most important deciding force in an elections in many districts of border states, so no party dare to do anything against them.

+ I strongly object to ur last statement, India is the largest democracy in the world & no party can just runaway after doing anything wrong, BJP is still facing negative effects of the 2002 riots (though there have been bigger ones earlier, but they have a dubious distinction of being the first fully televised riots of India) & the person "so called" responsible for the riots is facing troubles convincing national public about his leadership qualities even after 10 years of great development in Gujarat. Persecution is the last thing BJP can do after achieving victory in national elections, u should have more trust on the people of this 1.2 billion strong country that they will never elect a leader that can do harm to common people, persecution??

Sirji, BJP was power for 5 years in India, but not a single persecution happened in bengal


@topic: BJP is strong only in words not in action. Except for nuclear bombs and quadrilateral highway, BJP have nothing to show in their 5 yr rule. Though I personally consider BJP 10 times better than corrupt congress govt.
