Sri Lanka Moors >
Muslims in Sri Lanka is a different group (We called them Sri Lanka Moors (9%)), some of them speak Tamil some others speak Sinhala or both. They aren't look like Tamil ethnic, their skin tone isn't black/dark skin tone. Sri Lanka Moor ethnic group includes people from Arabic region and some Muslims from Indian subcontinent. so there are some differences too.
Tamils in Sri Lanka categorize into two groups. Officially, Indian Tamils and Sri Lankan Tamils.
TN Tamils who bought here by British era, we called them Indian Tamils. They represent 4% of Sri Lankan population.
TN Tamils who came here before the British era we called them as Sri Lankan Tamils (11%). This group includes Tamils bought here by dutch, Tamils who invade here with south Indian rulers, Tamils who bought here by some Sinhala kings & natural flow..
Average Sri Lankan Tamils are somewhat fair skin tone holders than Indian Tamil group in here. Both groups are mainly Hindu or catholic.
Sinhalese are mainly Buddhists and then catholic.
Tamils are mainly Hindu and then catholic.
But it's somewhat rare to find Sinhalese or Tamil who are a Muslim.
