Well proving that this Gates person is legitimate or not can only happen when we:
1) do research based on experiments in our own labs in Pakistan and leave the trend of just listening to west and other foreigners whoever they be with any kind of disguise why not religious, cultural and attractive investors etc like most of other countries for any issue or modern day diseases.
2) Verify the Composition of vaccines provided that if it is only having constituents which are for eradicating this polio virus or there is/are some other contaminants/constituents for other secrete and foreign served purposes.
3) Furthermore we should have wings in our intelligence agencies for acquiring new technologies and informations /intelligence on foreigners mission with any sort of educational,medical,cultural/musical programes and diplomates etc covers.
4) The most important and bold step required for achieving all of the above will be to minimize the corruption and provide the funds to people right for the job with no nepotism culture involved.

I did, and I suggest you do too. He is talking about current population of 6.5B rocketing to 9B in a short time (which no country can sustain) and therefore is talking about the need for controlling that kind of population growth.

Do you seriously think India or Pakistan or China or USA or Russia can handle it if their population doubles or even increases by 50% ?

i surely cannot Confirm or Deny .. but i routinely see so many Fake Posts attributed to each & everyone about thr Political rivals ... this one seems one of those.

More so b'coz it doesn't sit well on the test of logic.

1- thr is Nothing known as "Chota" Laptop ... Screen sizes could be less or more but a laptop manufacturing (assembly) facility only make Laptop (All kinds of Laptops) ... thn thr are Hybrids & Tablets !

2- If not nawaz sharif, his associate would know for the LEAST this much that a laptop assembled in china still cost way less than in Pakistan & hence thts why most if not everyone have thr Factories in CHINA

3- Microsoft DO make Hardware ... (includes but NOT limited to MS Lumia Smartphones & MS Surface & A whole range of Keyboards & Mouses)

4- Again it is totally illogical to expect nawaz Sharif will say like SOFTWARE ki Factory hi laga dain .. we have a whole team of people who SET a meeting agenda .. & i don't expect this from a three time Prime Minister!

5- Bill Gates Know that thr are only Three countries .. who are still Polio struck and unless Polio is eradicated from these countries ... the disease cannot be eliminated for good ... hence Bill Gates would want to meet the premier to emphasize on this point ...

I read on Express Tribune & Dawn that thr was a meeting and i m very much sure they did discuss the Polio eradication and also IT & Tech & Education issues, but in this particular Way .... I don't think so .... I Sure HOPE not !!!

PS: Nawaz Sharif Met German Chancellor Angela Merkel too, He met British PM on the way to USA also ... meetings on the sideline of UNGA is a prominent part of the "event" and i m sure we still have a beaurucratic team which can make these meeting happen based on mutual benefit .. rather thn "Minnatain karwana" !

when educated people talk about reducing population, they are talking about making sure that the people start reproducing less out of choice, not by force. Bill Gates doesn't aim to depopulate the world by killing anyone, he is trying to provide a better standard of living/ healthcare to the deprived sections throughout the world.
With education , better healthcare and increased prosperity, birth rates decline. That's what he is aiming at.

I don't see how exactly the de-population agenda works. Evidence suggests that increased access to healthcare in developing countries increases population, and not vice-versa. Also, a few less people born in the developing world is not such a bad idea. Is Pakistan suffering from a shortage of people?

Look, you may have a point about the shared experience of the developing world where many interventions are made with a hidden agenda. But I think it is wiser to assess each instance on merits instead of automatically assuming ill-intent and vested interest. Some people disagree with Bill Gates' foundation in the Sates as well - especially its approach towards promotion of charter schools. But there is a difference between disagreeing with someone on a policy/approach issue and harbouring conspiracy theories.

Returning to the main point you made, is Pakistan suffering from a shortage of people?
