What is minimum age to stand in election in Pakistan... he might get active like Rahul Gandhi for next 5-6 years and then replace his father ... if this time ppl don't select IK. Rest of other parties will gonna give support to PPP
Not less than forty-five years of age and is qualified to be elected as member of the National Assembly.
For the National Assembly, not less than twenty -five years of age and is enroled as a voter in any electoral roll in-
(i) any part of Pakistan, for election to a general seat or a seat reserved for non-Muslims; and
(ii) any area in a Province from which she seeks membership for election to a seat reserved for women.
One off topic question, wasn't our Parliament called Majlis - e - Shura earlier? why is the word "parliament" used instead of "Majlis - e - Shura"?
