Aaloo tamatar import export krty rhty hain yeh bullet b shopping list m Hona chaheay, Japanese from far off lands are literally ripping us off with their antique 70 and 125 cc's
Wby dont we manufacture our own ? We have a huge demand for bikes ...

60's bearucracy don't ride bikes and why prioritize a vintage classic when we can just import it from next door? Need to break the monopoly of Japanese "brands"
But we dont have any local made choppers or cruisers ... Small displacement choppers and cruisers can be a hot cake if sold at right price

Haan, kar to saktay hai political will ho to. Interestingly, on another (bikes/riding) focused forum, I am 'good friends' with some Pakistani bikers, but woh log to apparently raheez type ka hain, all got big expensive imported bikes but unki bhi ye hi khwaish thi, ki Indian market se import asaan ho jaye toh nothing like it.

India m bhi hai, these very well do to people, but "aam aadmi" ko bhi kuch to avlabel hona chahiye na ? :D

India m to revolution aa chuka hai.. k log aaj kal not just 100cc something daily commuter bikes, but proper racing and adventure and touring bikes ke shaukeen hain.. lotsa clubs, lots of specialists who can customize/tweak those machines.. main thing is made in India aka reasonably affordable segment me bhi bhot choice hai.

Former RE CEO Siddhartha Laal is a very cool guy and a biker himself and was responsible for their resurgence, read up on him, guy almost singlehandedly revived the brand and took it to great heights.

I just came back sunday morning ride ...

I own zx14 ...

Actually in Pakistan people are interested in adventure and touring bikes and there is a big market but no options ...

People are even buying chinese replica at a huge cost of 7 to 8 lac ... If people can buy this replica crap then why not people dont buy locally manufacrtured or assembled bikes ?

Market is there but someone has to take the risk and make the investment
