In America while riding fast, either solo or in a group, how confident are you as a rider going all in into a blind corner, right turning one with you hugging the apex, on the side of the mountain like in the photo, that there isn't a moron coming head-on at you from the opposite side in the wrong lane?
No more and no less, in USA, than any other place I have ridden.
Please see what I added.
Everybody has their own style of riding. I have ridden well over 100,000 miles to develop and polish my own techniques to serve me well. Works for me!
How old are you and how many years have you been riding??
No curve can be taken in isolation, as one has to be ready to transition into the next curve with proper positioning upon exit, specially on a twisty road at high speeds, as this angle of the same curve shows a little better:

My bad. I thought you were against the mountain.
You did not answer my question though sir.
But I am on a mountain. The drop to the left is several hundred feet and thickly forested. The Tail of the Dragon is on the southern boundary of the Smoky Mountains National Park:

The ToTD is a dangerous road:

Sigh. To your right sir. Your right. On the inside of your curve. The green patch. Which is a mound. But looked like the grassy mountain slop in the closeup first picture.
Topographical maps. My favorite in Geography.
Good ride dude. Just happy to be speaking to a biker.
I wish I could do that. I live on the other half of the country. The Tail would have tested me to my limits on my '98 Buell S1.I have driven on the Tail many times..
I have driven on the Tail many times too. It is a great road at any speed, and an incomparable thrill at high speeds, but dangerous, specially if one goes over a ton on certain sections.
What do you ride?
