The names like Shabnam and Nilofer are normally for cyclones but not for missiles...However for missiles aimed at India can be named Pigeon...

There are a few missile projects in the pipeline for some time but they were suspended till the economic conditions improved. If you do search on PDF you are going to get the links.

These Projects were on SLV, 5000 km ICBM & anti satellite missiles...
It is still not known if this is going to be from one of the projects that were suspended or its a new project. If it is a new one then it is most likely the one you are saying...It would be used to over work any anti-missile systems that are placed by India or any other enemy country.

How ever there was also news about Pakistan getting CX-1 (Chinese version of the Brahmos) so it could be some thing similar.

And even after 4 wars....Pakistan is still able to put a boot up your rear, whether you do twice more the damage, its out of question as Pakistan is a defensive force in nature. Your perception of reality is A LOT different than your generals. Check with them the next time before writing silly stuff on here.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (API) – Pakistan's military says it is about to successfully test-fire a very long-range missile capable of delivering all kinds of warheads in total stealth mode to over 3000 miles, covering the entire India and remote IN bases.

A military statement says the Pigeon II missiles with a range of 4800 kilometers (roughly 3000 miles) would be launched on Sunday morning at the conclusion of the Eid celebrations by Army Strategic Force Command.

It is the second such test by Pakistan in the past one month. A few weeks ago, a prototype of the Pigeon 1 flying stealth for spy purposes was launched to test is stealthiness. The IA personnel and radars were unable to detect it but two small middle school children detected the Pigeon missile, way inside the Indian terrority as it landed near their home and they had to feed the Pigeon.

This shapes the future missile development program of Pakistan where high precision, high stealthiness and longer flight durations without needs of refueling or even making rocket motor sounds are given the highest priority, effectively blinding all Indian detection systems. However, the missile is identifiable by Children looking for birds so Pakistan plans on launching further tests away from school zones so no child could see this missile flying.

not being offensive here but, how do you know what Pakistan is up to(please don't say you know because you live there)? they are reports out there, but who wrote them? its just speculation.

also saying on the "on the condition of being anonymous... " is rubbish i say anything and back it up by saying "on the condition of being anonymous...."

however confirmed point by valid officer are accurate. example when the Babur missile was tested he said an air launched missed was being developed (later to be raad) and a sea launched missile is also being developed. and thats all he said. and that accurate as what he is saying matches every thing thats happening. you need to wait for a naval Babur missile to be tested.

pakistan could be developing an icbm , abm or slv etc. but they have not been confirmed . so please don't talk about things you don't know about.

also they is no such thing as a cm-800 , you must be mistaken. its called the cx-1 image below.

i am still quiet new to pdf and still trying to grasp how are you getting this info.i am on indian and Israeli defence forums and they have similar stories are said, and are usually rubbish. except for china as they make claims and prove it with evidence/mostly.

And you believe that General. Pakistani Army Officers hardly speak truth about actual needs and requirements of our Armed Forces, as for ICBMs it's matter of time.
