We have already extended our hand in peace to Israel yet Israel refuses. It is not us who refuse peace.
As I recall, KSA offered "peace" if Israel agreed to commit suicide - that is, taking steps to eliminate its Jewish majority and character and civil rights.
Essentially this meant accepting
dhimmi status once more. Under the Ottomans that wasn't so bad but those days are gone and KSA has a history of expelling Jews from the regions it conquers and forbidding open Jewish practice. The credibility gap is thus too large to be bridged.
I'll point out that the Saud's competitors, the Hashemites who now rule Jordan, made a similar offer to the Zionists in the months before independence. That, too, lacked credibility; the Hashemites expelled Jews throughout the areas of their rule, starting in the 1920s.
The Jews don't want to be
dhimmis any more. They simply don't deserve the sort of abusive treatment that
dhimmi status degenerated to in the eighteenth to twentieth centuries. In my judgment it will take centuries of enlightenment and good conduct by surrounding Arab-majority states before these can be trusted to embrace minorities fully.
And a more powerful player has come to play in any future war. A player that is better equipped and better trained than all past war Arabs.
Exactly. The more power Arabs attain, the more Arabs like yourself want to use it to commit unjustifiable aggression and conquest.
You don't have to remain in the same mind-set as your fathers and grandfathers, cousin.
