Bhoja Air Flight crashes on final approach to Islamabad Airport.

Log yeh samagh ke ticket khared rahe thay booja airline ka ke PIA se adhi keemat par Islamabad pohanch jayenge. Aun ko kya pata tha ke apni maut ka ticket khared rahe thay!

Be sensitive tarzan ... it is not like swinging to bad tree and falling down..

How come the plane was flying soo close to the ground? Or did a microburst caused it to loose altitude?

Details are not known yet. A wind shear condition might be the culprit.

(Please note: As yet unconfirmed.)

Station commd of hyderabad cantt Brig Akhtar javed? was also on the fateful airliner... massive loss of life... investigations my foot.. the owner of this airline "farooq(?) bhoja has been put on ECL... but i bet nothin will happen..

22 families were going to PMA for Passing Out Parade of their Sons

The plane is thought to have hit high-tension wires due to flying too low below the cloud base.

(as yet unconfirmed.)

Could be , if the plane did get caught in a downwind under a cloud as the preliminary data shows.

The plane was in Line with the Runway apparently....so it can be assumed that the pilots were alive and conscious, and had some sort of control on the plane.
The crash site is hardly 3 Km from Runway,so the plane must have been at very low altitude at that point and landing gear must be down.
TC report that the plane had lost contact about 40-50 minutes before Crash....
Parts of fuselage have been shown on the TV and they bear visible signs of a fire..
Two engines were shown on TV,and had no signs of fire although its hard to say by just seeing a few seconds of footage recorded in low light..But both engines are not Buried in the ground and did not make a crater, but were crumbled due to impact.....Still partially intact though.
The Flight data recorder was heavily dented but had no signs of fire, and had impact damage.

What can we assume from all these observations?

It is highly unlikely that plane hit the wires, because that would not explain the small chunks of debris spread over 1 km area, and also after hitting the wires the plane would not have disintegrated
as it did.

.
I doubt if lightening can get an airliner down

It was likely not lightning.

Too low of an altitude, either by choice, mistake or wind shear, followed by hitting high tension wires, is the likely culprit (as yet unconfirmed..)

Sudden wind shear on final approach can be very hard to recover from.

The Data recorder was broken from one side, and it was burned on one corner.

The engine still maintained the basic round shape, although it's fans were stuffed with mud. There is a picture of another forum with their watermark so can't post it here.

My thinking is that the plane got lightning, and then got caught in a downwind under a cloud.

Pilot took the risk, and did not abort landing to save fuel.

There was a similar accident involving a B737 which crashed also on approach belonging to Turkey. The problem was the faulty altimeter reading by auto pilot which shut down the engines. Though no two accidents are alike but maybe something similar caused the aircraft to lose altitude in poor weather and hit high tension wires resulting in a big spark, fire and explosion downing the aircraft. Crew clearly were caught off guard since there was no mayday call. Here is the link to Turkish disaster: Turkish Airlines Flight 1951 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Windshear is something else I think. It is horizontal wind.

Downwind is basically when a plane passes below a cloud, a cumulonimbus cloud to be exact, high pressure from top forces the plane down, hence the large impact force.

Autopilot is not in use on final approach in those weather conditions.
