Totally agree with you. However, it is also a dangerous and vile world out there esp for women and until such a time where women can be safe and respected, certain safety measures have to be taken. For example it would be ludicrous to keep your car or house unlocked, to keep our money under a blanket, for our valuables not to be locked in a strong box or a hidden location. Even men who not street wise or are unable to display martial skills will not go into areas that are dangerous. Not victim blaming but taking precautions to keep safe and to maintain our dignity & reputations.
