Growth rates depend on how far away from a country's potential equilibrium output it is. We are very far from our equilibrium point and thus 10% over the next decade is more than realistic.
.
Work hard and do not get overwhelmed by many disappointments before your country's annual growth becomes stable. The path of growth is full of thorns, but, in your case it is the policy of your govt that prohibited the country to grow. Your racist policy is/was more responsible for the downfall of one of the brightest stars of Asia. You have very successfully ousted the Indians who would have pulled up the Burmese economy. Now, you are trying to make a distinction between Burmese and Arakanese Rohingyas. However, Malaysia is one example which did not follow similar policy. Now, it has become a pearl of the east. Singapore and Thailand are other two examples of success with multi-race population.

.
An underdeveloped/developing economy of $60b will rise only to $120b in the next 12 years even if it grows @6% per year. So, do you expect Burmese economy will grow @10% per year for the next 12 years?

By the way, BD economy will rise to $360b after 12 years from now if it gorws @6% per year.

You cant reason with this guy.. Even some Afhganis thought they will have a sustained growth of 12% seen in the initial phase of American occupation.
Early bird gold rush and Gas export is bringing little cash for the generals does not mean their economic fundamentals has changed a bit. It will take at least 5 decades to create a decent entrepreneur class who will have the capacity to compete in domestic and international arena. Thailand depended too much on FDI and eventually ran out of gas. The only country which has real potential is Vietnam in this region. Burmese has a long long long way to go.

Its you who are Indias lap dogs , for tackle India we have jaamati Pdfers

It sounds absolutely nothing like Burmese or Arakanese, you moron. Furthermore, it's classified academically as a a subset of Bengali which is in the Indo-Aryan family of languages whereas Burmese (and Arakanese) is part of the Tibeto-Burmic famikly which is in the greater Sino-Tibetan family. Some more facts for you.

You tell me what that sounds like. You think that sounds like a Burmese offshoot? BTW great video.

I don't know. I'm not a linguist. What relevance is that?

Someone doesn't know the difference between a linguist and a longyi. :laughcry:

Did you know that Indians use Lungi or Longyi as a slur for Bangladeshi's, because we wear the Lungi? Lungi is worn by many Indians as well, so did not quite understand the logic there:
Lungi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yes I know, I think we got this Lungi tradition from the Myanmar neighbors. I would love to see what PDF Indians have to say about that. Next time all of us should invite Burmese and all those other Indians when they start making fun of our common national dress.

1. A person who speaks several languages fluently.
2. A specialist in linguistics.

Longyi is the general term for the cloth. A man's longyi is called a 'pasoe' and a woman's a 'htamein'. Both are worn differently and have dissimilar patterns. The girl with the nice boobs in the video is showing a foreigner how to wear a pasoe.

Its hard to say where it originated. I think most Bangladeshi's are still from rural areas.

Dude, I don't understand shit and I'm a Bangali. Would be preposterous to claim it's related to Burmese and good news for you, no one did! Subset of Bengali or not, it takes centuries to diverge this much. If you can scientifically prove Rohingya as a subest of Bengali, would you hand over Arakan as a subset of Bangladesh? :p:

Lungi? Hard to control? Possibility of losing it?? My friend, I don't understand. :)
