Well you did not get the point here....... Its not about potential, Yes we do have the potential to become one, especially with the kind of population we have...... But The condition we are in it is a long way ahead........ Before even thinking of becoming a super power there are several things to be done, let us not forget we have huge number of population who live under poverty.......But as i said in my previous post nothing wrong in dreaming, because dreaming something is the first step to achieve

With our journey towards becoming super power, Poverty shall decrease. Infact it has decreased a lot. Development do not happen in Phase manner such as first we eliminate poverty, second we grew in defense, Third we progressed in Space science etc. All happens simultaneously. As we march towards the economic progress, poverty shall reduce, We shall become strategically strong as well. All goes to gather. We should not buy that BS argument of west that on one hand India is poor and on other hand they send mission to Mangal. This is not our weakness but our strength. India will definately will become a super power irrespective of government in power and with the power of people it has. There is only one danger. We should not deviate from our culture and religion because because of that we are what we are today. If we become an ethist society, we shall vanish. We shallnot be able to retain and enjoy what we have got.

LOL. They have already made China a superpower which doesn't even have 1/8th of USA GDP per capita. Some of Chinese members on PDF already behaving same way and dreaming as if world is queuing to align with them against west.

Now analysts turn to India and Indians very well know we are far from that. SustainAble 7% growth for next 5 to 6 yrs will pull most of its poor in to middle income class and sametime it creates many new entrepreneurs in different sectors. That's all everyone is aiming for.

Like KPMG CEO, Richard Rekhy is not a wise man like you.

In fact, if i look at future, i do not see any country which has a potential to grow like india. Huge mass with an aspiration to learn and grow with vibrant old culure driving the society. Indians are coming at the center stage of business, Education and research as well as leadership in corporate.

In other rich countries, the generations are spoiled with luxury and economical security. The country like china has converted themselves into an another European country by killing their culture. Their generation is not good enough to provide leadership in corporate nor fit for any high intellectual research. Country like Iran had the potential but it is wasted in Islam. Middle east is also wasted in over islamization. SO as the case with Pakistan. Country like Israel differs from others but it is too small. Its culture will hinder the growth of Israel. They will continue to struggle with its neighbor and have a little chance to flourish. It is too small too.

KPMG CEO has rightly said that it is a right time to start a journey to be a super power. We have a right leadership to reflect positevily to our aspiration and back up our efforts into right direction.
