What's new

Berlin AIrshow ILA 2008

Any way both tanks cannot hit the target, one cannot fire correctly and have defects while other is a wet dream so IMO are disgrace to india.

I have also noticed that the model of LCA in above pictures look much different than the pictures of prototypes. I think cosmetic changes are made on the model for exibition purpose, in order to make it look more attractive for visitors.

Please, do point out the "cosmetic changes".

Or else don't make irresponsible statements.

LOL...yeah they look the same....in the same way that a Boeing looks like an Airbus.

No way buddy.. LCH and Z-10 are 180 degree different! Z-10 is a heavy class modern gunship in AH-2 Rooivalk and the A-129 Mangusta league with the capability to carry up to 16 ATGM and the stealthiest Chopper in the world. Its like comparing Ah-1 "LCH" with AH-64 "Z-10".

I thought we were talking about looks, not specifications.

If your only objective in this discussion to diss everything made in India with sarcastic remarks then good luck.
You can continue the discussion with yourself.

LCH looks shady cartoon model while the Z-10 is the reality.

Dhruv is actually the German design. Using the French engine.

Also LCH is using the same French engine and is derived from the Dhruv itself.

Z-10 is in prototype stage.

And don't tell me that China never copied from anyone and invented a whole new copter from scratch.

No. Absolutely not. Indians are simply angels. :enjoy:

What does that supposed to mean?

Whenever India acquires tech, it does so legally by partnership and tech-transfer.

You of all people must know that it is not possible for any country to create a modern weapon in isolation sitting in a cave.
If that was possible , the Taliban would have its own Airforce.

I'd appreciate it if people discuss properly rather than make childish accusations.

Maan we Indians did put up quite a display, not to mention the spectacular display bu Alh Dhruv. Great going India!!!!

Dont run away like a coward from the topic if you have already inclined to hold discussion.
From the outside, it looks like it will become the stealthiest helicopter in the world once it goes into service in end of 2009.
Z-10 has passed all flight parameters, weapon suit has been finalized, engine has been acquired, and a MMW radar like Longbow is under development and should be fitted on top of the rotor pretty soon. From a previous picture, Z-10 has 4 pylons. Each of which can carry 4 HJ-10 ATGMs (as seen in this picture) or 4 TY-90 AAMs.
As for LCH.. From the "looks" it looks like it is made out of "tin" and due to its light weight it wont carry more then 4-8 ATGM. Not a worth while chopper in modern battle field.
